Oh, right, silly me.  It didn't occur to me that Volcarona can actually learn Fly, usually the game hates letting Bugs learn it.

(now that I've checked, looks like Genesect is the only other one)

GOLURK CAN LEARN FLY?? O3O

*hurries off to fly on a golem*

But yes, my Volcarona is my incubator.  While I was training my Noivern, I had a Larvesta as an incubator and got around to raising him into a BIG FLUFFY SQUISHEH~

So, if anyone feels like firing up their Vs. Recorder, I have a nice battle from my X's random Wifi to share:

Well, I traded the shiny Landorus for a Victini.  Then, I got a shiny Rayquaza through Wonder Trade.

But, I got the Victini.  I will play with it and take a pic to send to my nephew.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

The green blob is going to appear in the next Mega Evolution special and there's multiples of them.  Zygarde will be there as well, there might be some connection between the 2 since they share quite a few similarities.  Still no info about that 50 foot whatever the hell that is, but Corocoro said they will have some info about that next issue.

I personally think it's a Phione-type thing.  Look at Phione and the green thing.  Similar body shape and if you lose one eye, the mouth, and keep the little spot beside the eye, Phione will look similar.  There's too much of a similarity for me to let this theory go.

Sakura Leic

The thing looks more like Zygarde than Phione, the green thing body type is much more similar to Zygarde, minus the thing on Zygarde's back, both are green and Zygarde missing an eye too.

Besides the green thing doesn't look remotely like Manaphy at all.

I'm not saying it is Phione.  I'm saying it's a baby Legendary like Phione.

Sakura Leic

Oh yeah the way you said it made it sound like it was related to Phione.  Either way that is the most likely theory but I really hope it's not the case.  Though really at least it's not as bad as the Spiked Ear Pichu, seriously just why?!

Ringman's Pokemon dream gave us a new theory on shiny Pokemon and why they're called "shiny."

They're bioluminescent.

Sakura Leic

Well it would account for anything that's not a mammal.  But yeah it's an interesting idea.

Really Shiny Pokemon was just a fan nickname until Gen 4 made it official due to the sparkles.  The sparkles was probably created since shiny Pokemon appeared in Gen 2 on the game boy color and they wanted to have a more visual cue that the Pokemon you encountered was a different color, especially with some of the Pokemon having really subtle  changes when shiny.

Quickman

With the right gene expression, mammals can be bioluminescent.

The shiny Drowzee we found in the dream was bioluminescent and had translucent skin, so you could see the organs.  None of the other Drowzee had that, and their skin was opaque.
