My first shiny I ever got was a Drowzee from Silver version (I was playing in the dark and I didn't notice it was a different colored Drowzee, this was during the GBC era so no light screens in the dark yet, but I did thought it looked a little different but I didn't caught a Drowzee yet and caught it. Next morning I found it out it was a shiny purple Drowzee to my surprise!).

What's the encounter rate for a Shiny Pokemon? And is it possible for Starters to be shiny upon receiving them or via Egg only?

Ahaha , I resent that. I wanted a Male Meowstic. Even more, I miss my Whimsicott. Nice battle though. Was going to complain about the Mewtwo X also, but then I realized you handicapped yourself with 5 pokes instead of 6 against my 4. How about my Aegislash,

Hey, give him a break. He is working on his team. What you need is better type coverage then. Short of your serpent and the mega-'mon, you don't have that many attackers either. I was able to beat his Mega Mewtwo. I personally don't use Ubers (Though I bet its going to launch the Megas in there), but we make do.

Oh no I beat him in the rematch just fine, it took me by surprise is all. It's still a fair lose on my part of course but I think my team is good enough to beat any challenge as is for the time being, any defeats will be because I messed up not that the team wasn't up to scratch.

I was in a battle when you challenged me, Ruri.  Just catching trade fodder and checking out the Friend Safari.  Also, grinding Mewtwo.  He's currently on my team for leveling purposes and I rarely use his Mega form.
