I'm just grinding on Routes until Florges is at about level 50.  It shouldn't be too hard since it destroys almost anything.

A SHINY SLOWPOKE *false swipes*

Thank god I was looking at the screen, and saw the sparkles.
If not... I would have ran away because I caught a normal Slowpoke just a few moments earlier.

Doesn't help that the Shiny version is just a very pale version of a normal Slowpoke.

Is it me or is it really hard to train the pokemon. Sure the Exp. Share makes things easier, but as for actual leveling up, since there isn't too many challenging trainers like the Elite 4 or Serena/(Boy if you chose girl) that is once Daily. Anyone got tips for speed training the pokemon or are they doomed to dieing over and over again to the Elite 4...?
In Lumiose City there are restaurants where you can battle trainers as often as you want.

More info here: http://www.serebii.net/xy/restaurants.shtml

All tipping does is improve style.
And it's much slower than just going to the Poke Ball Emporium and buying Premier Balls one by one.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Police Girl

So for anybody who's used my friend safari what pokemon does mine give out?

Of course its not at three pokemon because I haven't had time to really get into the game in a while and since battling is literally a [tornado fang]ing chore now I can't imagine I'll beat it anytime soon.

On another note, [tornado fang] Attract and [tornado fang] static.

Akamaru

You got Machoke in our first slot and a Pancham as your second.

I know I got grass as mine, but what do I give?

When was the last time I poked you guys...

VixyNyan

This is what I do for leveling up,if I want instant LV40 or LV50 within minutes.

Leveling up my 'mons at the 3-star restaurant in Lumiose. It's so worth it to gain all that exp and money in very short time, and you do get the money back, plus even more if you sell the mushroom prizes you earn from it. You can raise a LV1 'mon to roughly LV40 or higher within minutes~ :cookie:

If you have an attack move that hits multiple Pokemon, like Dazzling Gleam, put that Pokemon in the middle of a Triple team battle, put lucky egg on a low level Pokemon (recommend that you have it join your active team for boosted exp), add Amulet Coin to another active Pokemon and things will start go crazy from there. If the low level Pokemon faints, I revive it right away, before battle ends, to not miss out on exp. Entry fee is $100,000 but you'll get so much back from this, selling mushroom prizes and it's super quick, and only takes a few minutes~ ~w~

If I only want 1 or 2 levels, I pick Victory Road and fight with my adorable SylveonNyan~

No, no, not doing this [parasitic bomb] unless there's a trick to it.

Vixy's advise is good for both exp and money.  Luck Incense and O-Powers should keep you going indefinitely, and you'll be rich after selling the Balm Mushrooms.

Just...don't try it at the Sushi place.  The exp is barely any better and the price to get in is sheer robbery.  ONLY reason to battle there is to "see" the non-Kalos Pokemon that they use.

I'm a freaking loser. After hours of chain breeding, I finally got the PERFECT Absol. All max IVs minus special attack (Because I like maxing out a pokemon's potential), best ability (Super Luck), and best nature (Adamant). All I need to do now is EV train it and it will be UNSTOPPABLE! :W

But first, onto Blaziken...

Kopaka: "That leaves you and I, Tahu Nuva."
Tahu: "No. That leaves only me."

Quickman

I have yet to see one shiny.

Back to grinding...

Level 63 at Le Wow.
Yeah I'll just grind the normal way, Florges is already at lv 34.

Once you have a powerful Pokemon that has a multi-target move, you WILL visit Le Wow more often~ :3

In one of the triple battles, you gain over 18000 exp for defeating all 3 Pokemon. At one point, I even got 24000 exp within one battle with Lucky Egg and some EXP O-Powers. XD

Dazzling Gleam was a suggested move to use at Le Wow, any others? I would not recommend Earthquake or Surf.

I'll wait until I have 5 of the 6 Pokemon I want to have on my team.  I think that's when I'll find it most beneficial.

Is that the one with Audino AKA the EXP mother lode?

I'd like to add that I had a Flamethrower-wielding Pokemon on the left side of the active team. It takes care of Lucario and other Pokemons weak to it. In my case, it was Delphox with both Flamethrower and Psychic against Milotic and Wobbuffet, among others. >U<
