It felt like this generation came really fast, but I'm told that they're right on time.

As usual, the internet is being [tornado fang]ing stupid about Pokemon designs just because the Pokemon don't look like Pokemon that they were expecting, but I'm willing to bet that any Pokemon they'd design would be shitty.

The Pokemon are just fine, okay?

They are. Really, I don't see what's wrong with them. It certainly can't be an issue of style because they (all gens) all look in harmony with each other.

Okay, it's one thing to say "I don't like how that Pokemon looks" but that's not what most of these people are saying.

Sounds more like celtic or nordic to me. Mostly because with that name Yveltal somewhat reminds of another mythological bird.

You CAN adapt old data for use in a new system, such as Gen 1 'mans being transferred to Gen 2 where the Special stat has split.

I REALLY hope this does mean that the EV system has been overhauled. I'm sick and tired of every game since Crystal penalizing me for using my favorites to PLAY THE DAMN GAME before I start grinding with them.

Either way, though, it'll be nice to know that hacked creatures won't be common as dirt anymore. For now, anyway...

Those are just marking. If anything, you should be more creepied out by Timburr and its evolutionary line, those look like they have veins ready to explode.

Definitely getting the Y version, because the Legendary is kickbutt to me! And the Fire Fox is going to be my starter and have Fennekin be female and I shall name her Tamamo!

By the way, I'm surprised no one has commented on the "DNA" symbols on the Japanese logos of Pokemon Y and X seeing as the letters Y and X refer to the chromosomes in our DNA to determine our gender. Hmm, I wonder if that means something in this game?
