Also, I presume that berries are still a thing in this game, yes? Because, if so, I'm so going to grow a Leppa(PP restore) and Persim(confusion cure) (and Lum(full heal), if I can find one in game lying around) berry farm to have an edge, just like I do in Platinum.

Personally, I wish that there was a way to get some Lansat(Critical rate up) berries, since a free source of Dire Hit would be nice to have, even if I end up never using it in battle(and I recall that there's a pokemon with an ability(Cheek Pouch) that makes any berry into a HP restoring item when used on it, so it gives me a reason to use it(Hp heal and Crit rate up? Yes, please.)).

Exp Share works on all Pokemon now, the battling Pokemon gets all the experience while the rest get half each.

Back from the Comic-Con, but it felt so short. And sadly because we didn't know about it there was a PARADE happening of all times on the day we had to leave to go home and it blocked our path to Nintendo World and my parents it wasn't worth it and took us home (seriously they had to block ALL of the paths? Where are the cops to direct the people who want to cross and not watch the parade after the parade left).

Man... I wanted that Fennekin plushie but it wasn't meant to be it seems. Sadly I arrived home too late as the GameStop store closes at 6pm EST where I live so I have to go in the morning to get it (opens at 10am but I have class during that time and work at night so I won't be playing it for long) and I could download them but I have them pre-order and want that Torchic.

Sadly the only Pokemon PokeSwag was the Pokeball with a Pokemon Keychain figure (Chimchar) and I only got to spend like 8 hours at the Comic-Con in total... a very short trip for my first Comic-Con. :/

I can't wait to play Pokemon X and Y... getting the guide book with it too, if you guys want to know where some Pokemon are let me know unless sites like Serebii already have the info up for all to see.

Ok. That's helpful. Is it still a hold item, and who has to hold it in order for it to take effect if this is so?

From what I've heard it's not a hold item, rather you turn it on and off.

So where do you get the EXP Share? Is it Story-Related or do you have to go out and find it?

After you beat the first Gym Alexa at the gate of the next route gives it to you.

So is the LV limit still tied to the Badges? Considering how much EXP you gain now do I need like the first two Badges to get a LV30 Pokemon to listen to me or did they remove or change that?

IIRC, even the game's first badge lets you control up to Level 30...

BTW, guys, there is a separate site for the global link/dream world for X/Y.  They carry over your login from one of the other sites (Pokemon Trainer Club, I think?), but they really take your sweet time processing your account after you first register.  So if you want them alternate abilities, you might want to get a head start.

*sighs*  Guess it's time for another grind for Dream World Dratini...  Hopefully I'll actually finish this time.

Serebii at present time has a general sense of locations and evolution methods.  They're lacking stats and moves, but the latter you can usually find on wikis with a little searching.

Smogon's forum has the general calculations of base stats for most Pokemon but they haven't finalized them yet.

I don't think the Dream World is returning. There is an item you get in-game that lets you change your Pokemon's ability though, presumably to make up for the possible lack of Dream World. Also berries are in-game again, so that's another Dream World feature back in the games.

My friend beat the game already, and then he he found a wild Hydregion in victory road and took this screen shot saying it was related somehow.

Finally got my game!  I've been grinding, mostly, trying to get my team all at mostly the same level, though my Fennekin, Flamin' Yawn (lol pun), is at level 15.  I was just about to stop grinding and actually hit the first gym when my battery ran low.

Tomorrow I head home, so I can get my charger and keep playing.

Apparently you can catch the Kanto starters inside the Friend Safari and you can buy the Mega Stone later on in the game.
