I like FFTA's gameplay, though it's getting a bit old learning Two Swords. Needs some more powerful classes, and less side-Missions. More sub-stories like the Frimelda and Duelhorn lines, or Beowulf/Reis and Worker 9/Cloud.

But as far as story and settings, yeah, it's old FFT time.

But Delita and Ovelia stabbed each other with the same knife, so there can't be a game as great as that.

Best shot we have is to bring another chapter from the Durai Writings.

Orran was burned at stake, so who would be able to continue writing a chapter in those writings so we can have the (awesome) FFT2?

If you want a EVEN earlier prequel you'd have to be Ultima herself, fighting against the gods in her rebellion. As stated in the lore of FF12.

That was a super prequel though, wasn't it?  I thought it had nothing to do with FFT, aside from taking place in the same universe.
