I just don't get how people are jumping from the logo to OMG CAPCOM'S GONNA [parasitic bomb] ON MEGAMAN AND ALL ITS FANS THIS YEAR in the same breath.
The same reason they jumped down Capcom's throat for X being anything less than a full playable character in UMvC3, Mirby. Because they WERE shat on by Capcom with Universe and Legends 3, they're more than a little sick of it, and it's left them on edge.
This logo could very easily mean absolutely nothing. It's unused, probably for a reason. But I must admit, if I were to assume it had any significance, I would get only bad news from there. All the people saying that Mega Man needs to be more than his NES back catalog at this point, I can't really say that they're wrong. That particular nostalgic boom was over in 2010 and we were left at the end of 2011 yearning for a proper modern adaptation of the franchise, be it Classic with a freakishly alienating art style (...), a PC game of a basically dead genre with an awesomely wide crossover cast and multiplayer just because Hell froze over, or the decade-old wet dream that we probably would have given up on had Capcom not brought it up.
In light of all of that shattering, Capcom going back to "Hey, remember the NES?" is probably the worst possible form of consolation that they can offer. It flies in the complete opposite direction of anything the fans were looking for.
But, again, it's an unreleased logo. It may mean absolutely nothing.
