I have friends that like Deathnote, and Ive watched both live action films WITH them. theyre my Deathnote database. besides, the basic gist is pretty straight foreward... A very smart kid fed up with the world finds a book that kills people and decides to take justice into his own hands and eventually becomes consumed with that power and decides the world will be reset and he will be its new God. and he does all this [parasitic bomb] so that people dont find out its him.

The amount of time it takes to convert a deathnote episode compared to just copying the manga zip/folder over directly is too annoying. The manga I can read whenever I am bored, the anime requires planning.

I support the first image about casual gaming. Isn't the point of games to enjoy them instead of ranting about the tiny little things? It's like you can't come up with creative and imaginative ideas without being shot at. I'm glad that I like to play and appreciate all kinds of games instead of narrow it down to a few of them. I enjoy the visual, musical and narrative aspect of games too. I play because it's fun. That's the point. ^v^; </wii>

tough to say what's meant by "hardcore gamer"
i've been playing games for a long time and am pretty good at them, and generally learn about game-related news soon after they appear; does that qualify me? because even with that i dont dismiss games out of hand, casual or otherwise, or get hung up on small things like which platform they're for

I didn't play that many games over the course to be honest compared to most "cores" but I still rant on the difficulty level of some until I get the hang of it. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy games especially if there are very engaging but sometimes I just have preferences and I would prefer one title over the other.
