@Phi:  Despite being slightly disturbing, that "Body is Ready" gif is hilarious.  I doubt I'd ever waste my time watching the whole movie, even if it was subtitled.

Also, no love for my Pokemon comic page?  I made that because of a joke Quickman and I made up a while ago.  She had discussed actually turning it into a comic, but didn't have the energy to do so at the time, so I did it.

People gravitate towards the first girl because it's either her, the last girl, or the childhood friend who gets the hero in the end.

I personally stopped watching after Brock and Misty anyway, and  I assumed many people on here would be old enough to remember her.

We are but most of us really don't care too much about the anime because my god will they focus on someone besides Ash or make him grow up or something.  It's pretty much the same [parasitic bomb] all the time, Ash goes to a new region because of coincidence or Oak suggests he goes there, Ash leaves everyone except Pikachu (and sometimes like one other Pokemon) behind at Oak's lab like other trainers in the games do with the PC box, Ash meets a girl that will travel with him (and lately other gym leaders and sometimes younger siblings of either) Ash challenges gyms for the 8 badges, the Girl has some other goal (like Contests, being the best trainer of a type, or finding out what they want to do.) Team Rocket tries to do [parasitic bomb] and ultimately blasts off or fails (Though I have heard that this is happening less.), the other bad guys barely have any presence and their plot in the games are horribly rushed in the form of a few episodes or a movie or something, Ash collects all 8 badges, Ash gets to the Pokemon league and meets other rivals that just show up (I will give credit to Sinnoh and Unova for actually making said rivals regular characters throughout the sagas) and will never be seen again after the League is over, and Ash loses the League while the person he lost to either wins or comes in second place, epilogue where Ash says goodbye to his friends and then the cycle happens again.

It's really [tornado fang]ing old and the worst part is that Ash and his friends do not age.

The anime doesn't have to be original you know, because each show is aimed at a new generation of kids who haven't seen the older series. If you don't like you don't have to watch it because it's not aimed at you.

I wasn't really complaining about it, I was explaining why most people don't watch it anymore.  I literally don't care since as we both know very well is that a lot of us are not the target audience because of the above.  I just keep up with this information in case I need to talk about certain things because I can. Not to mention I do at least highlight the merits of some of the seasons even with how they follow the same formula, if I was simply complaining I wouldn't even do that.  That's called evaluation not complaining.  Beside how often do I actually talk about the anime in the first place?

@Ruri: I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but just like the current show's target audience isn't people like me, the comic strip's target audience isn't you.

The odd thing to me, is, that if the show doesn't have to be original, than why waste money producing new episodes?  Why not air the old ones.  Its not like this generation's children have evolved so much that the old show would be completely out of touch with them.  Now, I know, with pokemon they just make new shows so that they can feature the latest pokemon, but I personally find that lazy, not efficient.
