Times must be hard for the Empire if they resort to advertising snacks.

Well, just think of how the destruction of the Death Star impacted the budget!  They were already in the red for just building the damn thing.  And the cost of a Star Destroyer's single hyperspace jump is worth more than some planets' entire economy!

Mirby

And I'm sure that destroying entire planets didn't help their finances either.

You know. At first I thought you were just joking, but then I reminded myself of how Expanded Universe is, and...
Is it actually true?
"There are whole star systems whose gross domestic product is less than the cost of a single Imperial Destroyer. There are whole nations which, throughout their entire history, do not use as much energy as an Imperial expends to make a single hyperspace jump."

Being a /feg/ regular, I've seen this plenty of times before.

Doesn't make it any less funny.

It is an observatory.

An AWESOME observatory.

I can't tell if the parts that aren't white are separate pieces of cloth or a lot of marker ink.  Either way it looks awesome.

I need me one of those. Though NYC is prolly a bad place for that kind of thing.

I don't think I've been to one either, not that California is a good place to put one either.
