...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

The Great Gonzo

KidsWB! contest involving Um Jammer Lammy, scanned from the March 2000 issue of DC's Looney Tunes comic. I always enjoyed looking through the ads in my comics (unless they were the "Tobacco is Wacko" ones), and I think this one stood out to me for some reason. Maybe it's just 'cuz I've been thinking about Parappa lately.

;_; Kids WB... back when cartoons were good...

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

... why would you say that

Because 4Kids was actually good back then before we realized how bad they actually were. The first few seasons on Pokemon were fun up until they kept repeating the same stuff again and again.

They were fine when they stuck to kids shows, but when they started editing shows to be kids shows, that's when they went wrong.

Back in the day, 4kids was fine.  KidsWB was cool, too.  There was a time where our local cable provider didn't offer KidsWB, which drove me nuts because dammit, Earthworm Jim was on TV!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

He must be dead in that picture. As of his death, the most recent flag was 15 stars.

Well he's also holding a rocket launcher...

That rocket launcher is historically accurate, clearly.  Same with the giant eagle. :P

On an unrelated note, there is a chain of grocers out in western Pennsylvania called Giant Eagle.

Giant Eagle exists in Ohio last I checked as well. They might just be an eastern brand.
