Topic title pretty much explains it. What game(s) had your favorite Sigma forms, and why? Is it because of the design, skills, BGM? Do tell.

I, myself, loved X8's Sigma forms. Mainly because 1) Neither of them was this gigantic thing that had the head as a weak spot. 2) I just loved the BGM, design, and skills of both. Not to mention Belial Sigma strayed from the typical Sigma design by giving him some uniqueness, which was a nice change.

I also liked X6's Revived/Zombie form, though only design-wise. It was a little too weak and it's battle theme didn't feel very... Battle-ish. In any case, do post your opinions.

X4. That final fight was intense.

then X5. that was epic.

then X1. Sigma's original design was neat too.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

irgpie

Zombie hobo Sigma fo' sho'

X1-4 were also fine I suppose.

Police Girl

X2, wonderful music going on there. Liked the primitive 3D, didn't like the over-simplicity of the battle.

X6, If only because it is hilarious to see crappily built Sigma, also creepy laugh.

Flame

Actually, for as odd as X6 zombie Sigma is, his second form is positively epic.

More franchises need to have frequently reoccuring final bosses show up once as a zombie.

I remember being really impressed by Kaiser Sigma for some reason. Maybe it was that he was huge yet able to move, just, the room was tiny.
X8 Sigma was fun to fight, on top of everything else.

Flame

I remember a topic somewhere explaining how Sigma was a timelord. (and thus why he was a Zombie in X6)lulz were had.

Sigma Zero X

I chose X1, X7, and X8 as my favorite Sigma forms.

X1 - I liked Sigma's cool and fierce look.  Despite being simple at times, he is powerful and I like his attacks.  His wolf form is fierce and reminds me of Braiking Boss's pet panther.  Bonus points to Sigma himself for being inspired by Braiking Boss with doses of Sagat and Dictator Bison.

X7 - His gunner form is pretty fine.  He can be challenging on hard, but I like the gun.  Finally, his gigantic form combines the awesomeness of Braiking Boss, Shao Kahn, and Captain Falcon.  The Braiking Boss part is already inspired into Sigma's design and character since X1, and this game is no exception.  Shao Kahn's battle voice and green fireballs must have really inspired Sigma's green orb attack, especially in English.  Finally, Sigma has his own powerful version of the Falcon Punch in his giant form.  All awesome inside and out.

X8 - I am impartial about New Generation Reploids acting as imposters for Sigma, but I like the regular copy look.  However, I do like the real Sigma more in forms, appearance, and attacks more than the copies of course.  This time, the real Sigma only needs one regular-sized form to unleash beastly attacks, especially his sword attacks and having a barrier while attacking with energy rings.  The real Sigma in X8 is probably my favorite form, with X1's regular form being a close second, and Sigma's X7 giant form a very close third.

All of Sigma's theme songs are great.  However, I prefer the songs of X6's second form, X7's second form, and X8's real Sigma the most.  Last, but not least, Sigma is one of my favorite Mega Man X characters.

Cypher

His second form in X1 with his mecha devil Scooby Doo, is one of my favorites no doubt.
One Hundred Legs

Acid

I have three versions I like.

His first and original appearance with the green chest and the spikes from his back.
His X5 version all in white and black.
And the Sigma copies from X8.

They're all pretty cool, and while his big ass forms make decent bosses I never really liked them more than the smaller versions.

Flame

His X4 version. That scythe was pretty cool. And his second form, (no, grim reaper sigma does not count as a separate form) is all kinds of awesome.

Blackhook

Reaper Sigma and Belial Sigma. Demonic looking and very fitting for Sigma character wise.

..I've seen it for the first time actually >.>

Karasai♪

I liked his "M. Bison" form from X5 and his Demon form from X8.

Flame

I actually liked his copies in X8. I really liked how they basically took his X1 design and redesigned it with a bit more "X8" flavor.

Same reason I liked it.
