I couldn't do it for ShTH... I just couldn't do it. I made it once through and got halfway through another run, looked at the stage select, and said screw it. This coming from a completionist.

As for X7, it's the 3D walljumping that irks me the most. It just doesn't feel right.

I can't say anything about Unleashed since I haven't played it... although it does look more solid than some other recent efforts from Sonic Team. I'll pass judgement when I can.

This is *ONLY* applicable to the first playthrough.  X is unavoidable, he joins you when the 8 Mavs are defeated whether you rescued enough 'roids or not, and he's part of New Game Plus.  So, save the intro stage, you never have to be without him again.  I guess it doesn't bother me because his nuke-sized charged shot is of such insane strength that you realize why, from a gameplay standpoint, he was delayed, and it is well worth it. He makes bosses several times easier.

Unavoidable as he may be, and no matter how stupidly strong his Buster is, it still does NOT excuse the fact that, ahem...

YOU DON'T START WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THE [tornado fang]ing SERIES!

this is my situation exactly.

and i totally agree with PB reasoning for not playing X7. it didn't stop me from playing it, but i can definitely see why PB will never touch it. and i would never force him to play it, either.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Hypershell

This is why it sucks that the PS2 doesn't natively support trading save files over the internet.  Because if I could send PB a New Game Plus, I would.

Well, you don't start with Mario in SM64DS either, and I sure as hell loved that game. 8)

And, don't forget:

Defeat 35 Artificial Chaos
Oh yeah, that one.  *shudder*

Missions could have used some fine-tuning, yes.  But most worked, and they're USUALLY optional.  The Artifical Chaos one was evil, though.

Touche, Hypershell. Touche.
But, Super Mario 64 DS was a remake, so it's not entirely the same.

Fine tuning? The whole game needed fine tuning. Even that "blow up the blimp" mission was unbearable thanks to Ammo. Oh, and Ammo, oh, don't get me started.

Hypershell

Ammo wasn't so bad in stages that gave you that giant, almost comical gatling gun.  Why swords had ammo, though, I'll never know.

Basically, I don't think Shadow was a great game.  But they came close.  Closer than they have in any other post-SA2 3D platformer.

Oh, I could always get the Save File from Lou.  He actually played through it.  It doesn't matter.  I still refuse to play that waste of Disc.  It's only purpose is to sit on it's shelf and adorn the collection, much like the movie Godzilla's Revenge.

And SM64DS was a remake.  I've already played the original.

all that needed fine tuning was the auto aim. that's it.

Hypershell

Ironically enough I thought the auto-aim was fine...

*smacks PB with his magical talking fish*

Hey, Gabera isn't my favorite monster either, but it wasn't THAT bad.  It can't possibly be worse than having Godzilla stuck in a role written for King Kong (Ebirah).

...Turn in your Magical Talking Fish.

The monster wasn't the problem!  It's the KID that's unwatchable.  The movie you mentioned is redeemable due to MST3K.  Godzilla's Revenge has NO redeemable qualities at all.

I don't think this makes it a bad game, but I'm sure it says something about how the developers feel about the character now.

Oh yeah, now there's what I really hate about it!  Why don't they call it Super YOSHI 64?

It might not actually be a bad game.  I'm just a stubborn silly willy when it comes to X7.   8)

I mean, I'll try any game that peeks my interest.  It's why I tried Sonic Unleashed before I got it.  Lo and behold, I really loved the game.

I gotta track down more MST3K, the only Godzilla flick I saw them do was Megalon.

Probably because, as wonderfully broken as the eggs can be, Yoshi can't beat Bowser without transforming into someone else, cannot enter World 5, and gets the ass end of the Power Flower deal.  Nobody but Mario can finish the game, and Mario's the only character to get two "!" box power-ups.

Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster is the only other Godzilla movie they did.

They did PLENTY of Gamera's though!   8D

So no making fun of flying against Hedorah?  What a shame.

I agree.  However, Save The Earth makes that movie SOOO GOOD.  I need to find an MP3 of that song.

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.

Sub Tank

I don't want to read this whole thread.  Which page has pictures of Ghost Girl?

Jericho

I don't think any screens of her were put up in here yet.

Sub Tank

Someone better fix that.

Fxeni

Maybe you should bring in your special brand of fixing in here, Sub. In fact, I outright encourage it.

I can't use my Wacom tablet, and my Internet is too slow.  I have been stripped of all my powers, and I didn't even touch a koopa.

Someone else will have to fill in for me until I recover.

This could potentially be dangerous.  For when you get your powers back, it could be an explosion of tits and topics.
