I'm still leaning to the Wii ver.  All it's not getting is the so called 'Hedgehog engine' and useless 3D hub? right? sounds good to me~

I'm getting the Wii version myself.  Only console I have that it's available on, not counting the PS2 at my dad's place.

Honestly, does anyone here really consider getting the PS2 version unless it's your only console?

Why not all of them?  ;) (Plus, it gives you a diffrent challenge each version)

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Because there aren't any differences between the Xbox360 - PS3 versions as well as none between the Wii - PS2 versions.

That and I'm a poor bastard. XD

Huh, looks like the 3D parts are actually automatic movement, much like the part from Sonic Adventure 1 where you run down the side of a building, but with much better controls. Hope I can rent this.  :P

Gentlemen, the guide has been leaked onto the net with details on the Wii and PS2 versions and the news is grim on there. More on that later. For now, lets get to unlockables and the final boss!
-Final Level: Eggmanland. It contains SEVERAL boss fights. First is Eggman in a mech. You fight him as the warehog. Next is a level where you fight Dark Gaia as normal Sonic, and finish it up with Super Sonic and a more powered up Dark Gaia. There might be some more in there.
-No Super Sonic in levels. But really, if it were, it would be purely cosmetic because of how fast he goes normally.
-Sun and Moon Emblems unlock Dark Gaia Gates, special levels where you can play as both Sonic and the Werehog. Nifty.
And now for the bad news on the Wii and PS2 version. It seems the rumor that two levels were getting cut from it is true... and it's not just acts; WHOLE continents were removed. Specifically, it lacks all of Empire City (New York) and Mazuri (Africa). Those, as confirmed by the guide, are exclusive to the 360 and PS3 versions. Sorry guys.

Well, given the bombshell I just dropped, it's more than justified. It's quite serious that the "lesser" version is actually lesser, to the point it killed two whole levels.

that's the kind of thing i needed to hear. however, i won't make a verdict until i hear about any performance-hindering glitches in either version. cause i'd rather have x-2 well playable stages than x broken stages.

Ahem... Final Boss has been leaked! Look on your own free will!
Final boss goes like this:
Egg Dragoon- Fight as Werehog, two part fight. First part on a platform elevated, second part on a platform over lava in the Gaia Colosseum.
Dark Gaia Phase 1- Fight Dark Gaia in a giant stone golem thing in the core of the Earth. Punch him and sock it to him and all of that. Sonic in a golem is kinda' humorous...
Dark Gaia Phase 2- You're Sonic. You have to race to Dark Gaia's eyes. You've got limited rings and lots of [parasitic bomb] flying at you and tendril aiming for you and a lot more, you have to survive and attack Dark Gaia's three eyes.
Dark Gaia Phase 3- Super boss fight that looks awesome.

Actually, the story is getting more confusing. It seems that Mazuri is still in there. You fight a boss there and one optional werehog level. That aside, the level's been completely pulled out.

Meh, not too big of a loss, thank god it's only two.

Any word as to why they were cut? Too large of areas to fit onto a disc?

WTF? way to ruin your moment Sega. Way to go. I think that the Sonic cycle has slightly come to pass. I mean, its enough that they have to change levels as well, for the PS2 and Wii, but to CUT levels? thats just plain wrong.
SOME PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD A PS3 OR 360.
that aside, was that a... Sonic Spin? wow, when was the last time rolling sonic into a ball was actually Useful, and possibly encouragable? Though what Sonic needs is a TRUE spin dash... Where I can do a spin dash from a stand still and actually have it be useful for destroying an enemy. also, sweet, no boss bar. just VISUAL representation of its health.
also, why did they have to cut NEW YORK? that bodes not well with me. ):[

also, Ps2 version for me. Ill never be able to afford a Ps3 or 360 anytime soon, and I cant get a wii cuz buying a laptop takes precedence.
