Here we go again, boys and girls! Protodude and his old accomplice are at it again~! 8D

Quote from: Protodude's Blog
Remember our enigmatic friend "The Shadow"? The self proclaimed inside source that leaked several accurate Mega Man 9 details prior to the game's official announcement? Well he's at it again and this time he brings a most interesting bit of news that's sure to please many.

Hot on the heels of all that "fans will be happy soon" teasing by former Capcom staff member Hideki Kamiya, The Shadow sends word that a Mega Man Legends sequel is indeed currently in development at Capcom. The project is "very tight lipped" at the moment and as such, he cannot reveal further details at this time. However, official news on the project is expected to surface after Capcom shifts their focus away from Mega Man Universe. No time frame was disclosed.

Further, The Shadow could not confirm if the title of the game is actually "Mega Man Legends 3" because the project has no working name at this point. Nevertheless, it is considered to be the next entry in the series.

Despite The Shadow's track record, it's best to take this with a grain of salt. "Hope for the best, expect the worst", as they say. I'll be keeping you posted on any new developments should they arise.

Update: Many are requesting a source. The source is The Shadow himself. We've been in contact via e-mail for over a year and my curiosity about the Kamiya tweets got me thinking if he knew something. I shot him a message and a few hours later, we have the above tidbit.

Just a little bit more fuel for the fire, as it were! If Capcom's viral hype man knows its real, and Kamiya knows its real, then I guess it truly is something inevitable.

Nah. His primary function is being a viral instigator of hype amongst the Blue Bomber fan base. "Hype Man" is more fitting!  8D

Snake Man would fit too. Being sneaky and all.

Or "The Living Leak"

This is awesome news...I still need a DASH/Legends collection on consoles first though.

How close are we to the apocalypse now btw? First it was Duke Nukem Forever actually coming out, and DASH/Legends 3 gets added to that.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

At this point, I doubt a collection would be worth it. The games haven't aged that well, and definitely aren't as revered as any of the Classic or X games, which doesn't abode well for sells, even for what should be a pretty easy thing to make. So, to me, the easy answer is to make use of PSN/Live.

Maybe we can chalk that up to more of Inafune's "westward shenanigans". No way could he allow what's basically a "legendary" Western title to finally emerge after all these years, and not have his own "answer" ready to go, too.  8D

Seven seals must be broken first.

Two are gone.

Next would be Half Life Episode 3, I think. Then... I dunno... FF7 remake?

Well, that too of course, I just want a proper way to play them that's not the PSP tbh.

Makes perfect sense 8D

Wasn't SFIV one too?

In this gen alone, we crossed off a ton of them, most notably Street Fighter IV and the Gold & Silver remakes (though they were the most obvious ones on the list). If Legends 3 happens, we're only left with Startropics 3, Zone of The Enders 3 & Jet Set Radio 3. Maybe Chrono Break can be added to the list now... XD

Edit - Damn, Half-Life 3 or Episode 3 never even crossed my mind.

Oh hey, a thought:

As we know, Inafune doesn't think too highly of Japanese devs. There's one that he hold higher than Capcom though: Level 5

Could he have hired them to work on MML3?

I have to say, I lol'd.

So the seven seals are:
DASH 3
Duke Nukem Forever
HL2: Ep 3
StarTropics 3
ZOE 3
JSR 3
Chrono Break

Are we agreed on this?

Also, I hope this is true... I really do... ^.^

You forgot Megaman making into a Super Smash Bros game.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I meant individual games, but okay. Then Street Fighter IV, Megaman in Smash Bros, and X in a fighting game.

That makes the Ten Trusses. Need to keep the alliteration. ;)

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.
