The Cinq will run you, last I checked, at least $200.  Personally, I would stick with the Wacom.  You'll get used to drawing with it pretty quickly.

More like 2000$

Cintiq is pretty expensive. And as bold as it seems... Chris: You're really not good enough to justify the purchase. Drawing quality will not increase magically just because you sold your house to buy an expensive tablet.

There are people who can do amazing pieces of works with 80$ tablet. And these people are professionals. Who use these tablets at their jobs.

True, but having that type of Tablet is quite helpful in certain situations however I'll continue to use my current Tablet. I'm in no rush.

Trust me on this: Everything that's unique to the Cintiq is completely useless for what you are doing. Heck... frankly... there isn't a single person on RPM who would use a Cintiq's full potential (no offense).

Well everyone's got their own opinions... though I wouldn't mind trying it out at least once.
I'm happy with my Wacom Tablet for now. Don't need anything else. 8)

Unless you´re rich, I would encourage you to not buy that tablet. Acid pretty much told what I think, you don´t have what it takes to use the whole potential of the tablet, you don´t even draw good enough with pencil (no offense). And by the time you get the hang of it, your tablet will be old and crappy, and you wont have the money to get another one. But if you have a lot of money/parents that waste money like crazy, go ahead!
If you want to turn around the pic to draw get Corel Painter, which let´s you rotate the canvas as you draw.

Stick with Wacom I guess. everyone here seems to use it. (and it works for them apparently)
Speaking of which, I need to get a tablet. Im sick of drawing on the oekaki with a mouse. I CANT do it anymore.

anyway, your getting much better Chris.

SAI does that too. And Photoshop CS4 too. Newly added feature.

Photoshop CS4 has image rotation!? Better upgrade then! ^_^

Also I'm saying I'm going to USE and KEEP my Wacom Tablet for drawing! I'm not rushing to get the Cintiq Tablet anytime soon.

Ok, but we still like to argue about everything, it´s our nature. Yeah, CS4 has that function too, I never tried SAI though.

But is it non-destructive rotation?

What do you mean? It rotates the canvas a few degrees, not the drawing itself (the same as transforming and rotating) if that´s what you´re talking about.

EDIT: Had to google that, never had to use the english term :P. From what I know CS4 supposely has a non-destructive approach, but I´m not really sure. I got so used to CS2 that I never had to rotate the canvas to draw, I should try it I guess.

All I know is some applications say they have a rotation, but it's destructive.
I actually never use the rotation in Painter, mostly because alt+spacebar is a bit awkward.
Need to figure out if I can bind it to the ring on my Bamboo, that'd be a lot better.

As for SAI, I gotta go download that one again, recently formatted and all. Recovering all those little things now.

You get used to the hotkeys after a while. Painter works really slow on my computer unfortunately, that´s why I don´t use it that much. That and because I have all the PS hotkeys learned, and I work almost automatically with it because of that. I´m too lazy to make all the change of hotkeys to make it similar to PS :P.

I´m almost certain that they fixed that in CS4 (in CS3 you could only rotate it via the "Arbitrary" option in Rotate Canvas, which was destructive).

It´s cool for sketching every once in a while.

Now, to be a bit more on-topic or going off-topic a lot further: Am I the only one who finds this a bit disturbing?

The face on the right doesn´t look bad though

I think it's a view of the sole of a foot as it's pivoting or standing on the toes.

Feet are a pain to draw.  One thing that helped me was something artist Darick Robertson (of Transmetropolitan fame) does:  start the shape of the foot with an elongated figure-8.  Lemme see if I have an example...

Here we go...

Wily's right (your left) foot is shaped from a figure-8.  This may take some practice to figure out where the arch and instep goes, but it certainly helped me with drawing feet.  As for drawing feet in angles, poses, and such?  Photo references and studying how the foot moves are your best bets.

That is the back, or sole, of a foot though I was seeing if I can add some toes there but I wasn't sure so I let it like the person was standing on their toes. Since feet are rarely sometimes I wanted to work on them (they're somewhat easier to draw than hands) though having some good reference would help a lot!

Also doing a 8 figure for drawing feet is very helpful! The feet are like 8 figures! I'll remember this next time! Thanks Quickman!

I drew this a while back before making Chris' new Trident Hairstyle but forgot to upload it even though I scanned it.

Corona Blades

At first, in both TLH and in the VirusChris manga series, Chris Aero/Yuushi
starts off with just one sword until he gains a twin sword ability. Also due
to Chris' nature and skills he can create small hurricanes/whirlwinds with
their swords to trap enemies within his attack range and prevent them
from running away.

The Corona Blades are originally a pair of twin swords for dual-wielding.

It's a cross between a Katana and a Broadsword, but it's either small or
big.

Height: 5'4"
Weight: Varies (the user inputs their own Ki to increase or decrease the
weight for training and attacking)

That's it for today! Wish I did something for yesterday since it was birthday.

EDIT: Dang it! Messed up with the url to display the image! It's fixed now!
