LaTale: Chris Corona - Prototype Sketch


This is a head sketch of Christopher Corona for my LaTale RPG fangame project & LaTale manga. I've made more sketches of the hair before on different pieces of paper.

This is the style I'm going for, for his hair and body look.
He's also a sword dual-wielder, aka Blader, and has an interesting Dark power.

I'll explain more for my story version LaTale which takes places after Iris's adventure like in the MMORPG.
I'll draw his full body next time.

Another doodle sketch by me. I like how the young adult came out. Looks really great!

And the Sword I design for Chris Corona is also bad-ass!
The eyes came out alright too and the snarling teeth looks vicious!

The hand is good however I was running out of room that I had to shorten the fingers for the index, middle, and ring finger so it looks a little unnatural. And the feet could use some more work.

Needs more Peter Griffin, Lois Griffin, Chris Griffin, Meg Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, Mort Goldman, Glenn Quagmire, Carter Pewtersmitch, Babs Pewtersmitch, Joe Swatson, Tom Tucker, etc names for your characters.. oh wait, isin't that half of the Family Guy Cast?

Hey, can you try to come up with a diffrent name for a change, Chris is becoming too generic for a name, and even some of your characters DO look like your internet persona at times.

That's for my personal stuff with VC being my only thing official. Other stuff there's different characters with different names than Chris.

Other project ideas I have for other games like "Dark Thoughts" the names of the main characters are Nero and Cecila. And a sequel to my VirusChris manga project, which I have planned, the main character is called "Nova" and the sequel title's "VirusNova".

Then there's "Hollow Zone" with the main characters Necro, Alissa, Noon, and Dike. "The Unspoken" with Maren, Heim, and Sora.


Chris(topher) means "The Bearer" in Greek. The name holds meaning to him. Plus in official games and anime there's hardly any truly cool characters with that name "Chris" except for minor and villain (KOF).

Don't worry, these are the only Chrises in my series. No more Chrises after this.

Also should've keep his first name hidden and left his last name only revealed.

I'd say Lukan but I'm using that for another character in my fan fiction not to mention it came from a little known manga, Faye too but again character in my fan fiction and I'm sure it came from somewhere else.

None of the names bothered me, as I tend to make "similar" characters and multiple versions of them as well. Quite honestly, I saw nothing wrong with the three names either, and i'm glad to see someone remembers the old Digimon before they kept making more seasons and some truly absurd storylines...

Anywho, nice works, keep up the good job and all that respective motivating jazz that could be typed yet not thought of at the time.

It's been a while since my last artwork so here they are! First off with a request by our own SakuraLeic (or just cute Sakura-chan now)!

Zeta (SakuraLeic's character):


This is Sakura's character for her Megaman fanfic (which I need to read! ) Zeta! Before drawing her I look at her other drawings of her and decided to give her a somewhat flirty expression to make her very cute. I think I did a good job nailing that expression, and went with the manga way of showing the movement of body parts.

Overall I think she came out great! What do you think Sakura-chan?

This next one is the final boss of "TLH: JR" game (well one of two final bosses)... DarkBlade's ultimate form: Kami DarkBlade!

Kami DarkBlade Sketch:


Yep, his arms and legs are SUPPOSE to look that skinny. You know the old, and ever-so cliche, saying "Don't judge a book by its cover". Kami DarkBlade is more aggressive, stronger, and faster than before! Almost 8 inches tall this Dragon-like creature will tear you apart with his many blades on his body!

Took a while to get his back, originally more different and spikier, but couldn't get it. His blades look like Hedgehog quills!

Hmm I never expected her to be flirty but you did a good job with it. 

I wish I could show you my fan fiction but I'm redoing it because I needed to improve on some things and I wish I had some help with it someone who could understand what I want to do with it and stuff and esepcially help with fight scenes I mean seriously I hate Battle Chips because there are too many and too many navis depend on them which make them seem weak in my eyes!

Now you know how I felt when I started my fan fiction.

Plus I notice a little error with Zeta... mainly her left leg. I made the shin area longer than it should be and the point where she bends her leg is too short. Only thing I see out of proportion.

Got to keep that in mind.

But you did nail the expression though, and yeah on the left leg of hers.

As for Kami...
Makng his forearms and legs that skinny, is an interesting idea, though...
Despite not judging a book by its cover, he still looks rather flail.
