"Oh sorry, how rude of me to not introduce myself." Dr. Wily II places the still Flail-ing Magikarp into one of his lab pockets, just enough such that the head of the Magikarp could still be seen. He then lightly dusted himself, straightened his labcoat, and did a gentleman bow.

"My name is Dr. Wily II, Gym Leader of the Cinnabar Island Gym. But you can call me Doc."

"Greetings." Quickie gave a slight bow, "I'm Quickie, not a gym leader, and, well, that's it." She smiled, though she moved to place her backpack in a different location.

Mewtwo remained quiet and still. He knew Wily's face, but he could not attach a name, nor a place. The memory was fuzzy, though the lab coat unnerved him. And teleporting away would draw too much attention. </phone>

"Blaze," Firebrawl said to his trainer after rolling his eyes.

"What do you mean I haven't even caught a Charmander?" Pyro replied when he surfaced.

At about that time, his platypus waddled out of the pump room and dove into the pool.

Sakura noticed the weird thing that dived in the pool.

"What's that Pokemon over there, it looks like a cross between a Psyduck and Bibarel." Sakura asked as she and Venus got back into the pool.

"There you go that's a much better introduction than when we met." Sakura said as she held the Platypus in a way that the spur wouldn't stab her and pet it.

She was careful to avoid mentioning Mewtwo, due to the clone's caution and the mention of Cinnabar, which was familiar enough to give her pause. The platypus chirred happily as it felt Sakura's fingers stroke its fur. Pyro crashed jumped out of the water like a Wailmer and splashed water all around while Memphis tried to impress Venus with his diving skills.

"So are we going on an adventure?" Pyro asked Quickie and Lt. PB in between dives, "And will there be cake like last time?"

Quickie laughed. "It's been far too long since I've gone traveling..." She busied herself with rearranging items in her backpack and taking out a few packets of cat food, before tucking them away in a different pocket and gathering up some trash left in the bottom of the bag.
