Pyro then pulled out his stereo to play Guile's Theme and shouted out "SONIC BOOM!" in the major's trademark monotone.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" The Thunderpunch connected a second time, and there was another explosion. When the smoke settled, the Blaziken's fist was still crackling with electricity, and landed on Heatran's head. Heatran let out another roar, before attempting to use Crunch. However, the roar was of desparation, as with mouth still agape, collapsed onto the floor, fainted.

"I... Can't believe I lost... That speed... Speed Boost? No wonder that Thunderpunch had so much power... I guess I really under-estimated that Trainer..." Dr. Wily II placed his right palm to his face, and began to laugh aloud.

"Amazing battle young Trainer! You have proven your power against me, and I proudly present to you the... *digs into his lab pocket*... VOLCANO BADGE!!"

Pyro eagerly accepted the badge and struck a triumphant pose with it while Firebrawl posed behind him. Jawbreaker pressed a button on the stereo with his claw and the music switch to some fanfare to commemorate his victory.

"That was fun!" the trainer/gym leader of Lavaridge shouted jubilantly and them offered Wily II a warm marshmallow-y treat, "Want s'more?"

Meanwhile, back at the pool party in Saffron...

Quickie cast her gaze to the ceiling. "You know... it's been a while since I've gone on a decent trip. I don't think it would be too much of a problem to close up for a holiday. What do you think?" She looked to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo merely shrugged.

"I mean, we both work pretty much nonstop, you doubly so just to make sure you're not, well, discovered..." Quickie trailed off. "Yeah, I think a vacation is in order. I don't have any reservations lined up for a while, and for whatever reason, the summer is just slower. Might be the heat. Gets nasty around here and then the kitchen takes on a smell..."

"I, personally, would not mind seeing some more of the world," Mewtwo finally showed some attention. "To observe how humans act in different locales, how that behavior affects the behavior of the Pokemon in those areas, and just to see what all is out there."

Sapph, by this point was simply floating on his back in the middle of the pool, somewhat unaware of Quickie's plans to join the travel party. That is, until Lt PB started shouting. Though, this was beginning to raise a question to himself. "Why am I traveling with so many people?" With that, he took a deep breath, leaned backwards, and dove down to the bottom of the deepest part of the pool.

"That is true most Legendaries are in plain sight because they are so powerful and want to fight worthy opponents." Sakura replied. "Although sometimes there are some that just show up in front of a trainer they think is worthy."

"It seems you have learned much of us from your travels." Sakura heard a voice in her head speak. She glanced to her bag as she hadn't heard the voice in quiet a while but didn't want to draw attention to it.
