Duck Hunt will be out on the Virtual Console on Xmas.

Wiimote required, obviously.

VC games on the 25th.

Duck Hunt
Super Mario Advance 2 (AKA Super Mario World but slightly different)
Mario Party Advance (AKA the shitty one with no multiplayer)

And on the 3DS is Super Mario Deluxe for GBC (AKA Mario 1 with a small screen and lots of bonus stuff, plus a butchered Lost Levels)

Well Europe's already getting some good [parasitic bomb] to ring in the new year in terms of VC games.

Fire Emblem 8 (AKA Sacred Stones, AKA the one that was released on the 3DS as an ambassador title) and F-Zero GP Legend are both Wii U bound.

I doubt we'll get either this week in the US. After all, we're still short 3 DKC games.

The Slowpoke 3DS theme that's going up this week is neat

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

So this week we get... Pokemon Pinball on the Wii U.

So this is the third Nintendo pinball game on the Wii U. Good for them.

3DS gets a Bionic Commando game from the GBC.

Battle Network 2 is on Wii U VC now.

Apparently its been patched so you can obtain the chips that were previously only available through Link Cable and stuff.

Nobody mentioned the Humble Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 Bundle? Okay then...

If you pay the minimum, you can get yourself of copy of Duke Nukem: Megaton Edition, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux (the old DOS version is free on Steam though), Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, Volgarr the Viking on Steam (Volgarr is also available in DRM-free form). Pay over $6 and you get all this plus Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut, early access to SpeedRunners, and the SpeedRunners YouTuber Pack 1 and 2 add-ons on Steam, plus a 1-month subscription to Twitch Turbo (credit card required to activate Twitch Turbo). Pay over $10 and you also get Escape Goat 2 and X-Split Premium for 3 months. Finally, pay over $30 and you everything plus some AGDQ 2015 swag. There's only 2 days left on the offer.

Not really big on the subscription stuff, also Oddworld is VERY janky nowadays. If you have a sony console I'd just suggest you buy New n' Tasty instead (Though for a buck its not too bad).

The Speedrunners DLCs have some insufferable personalities included such as Pewdiepie. I'm sure the game itself is fine, though.

Retail Wii games have been added to the Nintendo eShop.

So they're officially Virtual Console games now. They'll run at the price of $20 (Which is a bargain considering some of these games are more expensive than that.) but will be $10 on the week of launch (Not sure if this will be a constant thing or just a introductory thing for these first three games.)

Mario Galaxy 2 is the first game to be released, with Punch-Out and Metroid Prime Trilogy to be added next week and the week after, respectively.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is a steal at that price, even at the stupid 1:1 ripoff rates they are doing for Europe (£18 / €20)

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Hell in the US Punch-Out is a steal at that price, it goes for like $80 used nowadays or something. Seeing as its so cheap I might as well buy it digital.

I bought Galaxy 2 for the hell of it, owned the disc since it came out but at $10 what's the harm?

Rockin' Android is finally bringing Crescent Pale Mist from PSN back to PC. The game up on Steam Greenlight and will include the usual Steam-related bells and whistles.

Quote from: Crescent Pale Mist's Steam Greenlight page
Key Points:
  • Six challenging levels with multiple difficulties, featuring rich HD graphics
  • Engaging fantasy-based storyline
  • Rich, detailed art in the hand-drawn Japanese anime style
  • Presented in “2.5D”, rendered 3D polygonal graphics presented in a 2D game
  • HDTV 480p
  • Steam achievements
  • Steam Cards
  • OST
I seriously hope that "HDTV 480p" part is just cut-and-paste laziness from the PSN version on their part...

-EDIT-
In other news, Grim Fandango Remastered is up for pre-order on GOG.

From the sounds of it yeah. At least for free.

But you could literally just sign up and you'll be eligible to recieve it.

I should also note that they'll have elite status again this year.

Just in April instead of July. So platinum needs to be reached by March 31st. Its just gonna be digital games again considering they'll deliver the rewards at the same time.

There's a Star Wars Humble Bundle up now.

Pretty self explanatory, lots of Star Wars games. Paying $12 gets you both KOTORs and both Force Unleashed titles, alongside a bunch of other stuff.

If any of you nerds even remotely appreciate Star Wars then get the bundle for Jedi Academy alone. Or wait and see if they toss in the other Jedi Knight games. They're all amazing.

also a proper link for those lazy or unfamiliar https://www.humblebundle.com/
