Hmm... If we could get him to record that and send it our way, I could easily place it on the main page in a hidden flash media player so that it runs once whenever you visit the main page. :P

Flok

That is awesome news. We all would want to hear an ever cheesier redub, but personally I'd say let the man redub it in a serious way this time.

So.... where is the poll to make my vote for an all serious redub?  -_-

Lucas Gilbertson´s voice is pure Zexyness for me.  :V
So go for it Lucas!

Uhm, maybe I'm late or maybe not, but...

I'm not sure what to think of the performance, though I think the timing is a bit off.

VixyNyan

A bit too quiet or low-tone for me to get used to at first. >U<

Good work tho, Lucas (if you read this).

I feel more comfortable with the Japanese version.

While I (obviously, given my anime habbits) prefer the awesomeness that is Okiayu Ryotaro for Zero, At least I must admit that out of all three (it was three, wasn't it?) English Zero actors, Gilbertson definately is the best. I suggest that RPM and all other Rockman communities start raising a fund to hire this man as well as some skilled programmers to entirely redub both X4 and X7 Zero with Gilbertson's voice and put the audio into the games. Oh, and should there be some money left, let's get Mark Gatha in the boat as well so he can redeem our dirtied souls from X4's girly X.

On a side note, I think the way he calls out for Iris at 0:47 is kind of funny because it sounds like he's scolding her for falling asleep or something.

Better than the other one, that's for sure. Good work.

to be honest, i didn't think he'd actually do it. the first part could've been a little better. both of them were pretty quiet. but the screaming part was very good.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

I want to have Lucas's babies.

The Slacker Hunter

I think it's very well done, considering Zero's voice is so high-pitched in the original. Though I kinda preferred Iris' original voice...

Oh well.
If you are reading this then that means that I have managed to control your mind even if for a short period of time.

Was Iris redubbed also? She doesn't exactly seem like she's on the verge of death...

Night

Not exactly a redub since it has no voice acting...

confused now, was Asena talking about that "interesting" Video, or the X4 redub when it said "nice redub"?

Whoo! Much better!

~Iris is just talking quietly; doesn't seem too dead/dying.
~Zero, no building emotion on that last "Iris" just before he picks her up.

Other than those nitpicks, a drastic improvement.

Flame

I really liked the new WAFF. he screamed it pretty well.

HyperSonicEXE

WAIFF.

And yes, it's all actually believable, now. I got the same amount of heartstring tug this time as I did the first time I saw the scene, so that's a good sign considering how long ago that's been.

Flame

in the "iris" "hang in there iris" parts he didnt quite deliver on the emotion, but then again, hes used to playing the hartbreak hardened Zero who doesnt smile for [parasitic bomb]. X4 Zero at least still showed his emotions. after that he got rather colder and more distant.

Exactly. After losing Iris, Zero distances himself, fearing another equally tragic and extremely probable loss, and to keep himself from having the same character flaws as X (not wanting to fight, hesitant, naive, etc.).

The lack of emotion in the "Hang in there, Iris" is what you're supposed to do; you've gotta be straightforward with someone that's dying. No emotion, no BS, you just tell them that they're going to make it, they're going to live, no questions. See it about half the time in war movies (the other half, overly dramatic).
