I went and saw the new Clash of the Titans movie tonight.

Twas pretty terrible.  Although, I think "YOU'RE THE SON OF ZEUS AFTER ALL!" will become a huge phrase.

Huh I'm going to see that on Sunday, I had a feeling it was too over dramatic in the previews. :\

Well actually, I just read a review on io9 and according to Annalee, they intentionally made the dialog cheesy & B-Movie..y.  If that's the case, then they indeed got it right.  I thought they were actually going for something more mainstream & serious, which it definitely wasn't.  I mean, the movie is indeed awful, but it is "fun awful" so you could still enjoy it if you're going into it with a B-Movie attitude.

Interesting...  That almost makes me wanna see it.  Almost.  I plan to be faithful to the original, though, so seeing the remake is not very high on my watch list, if it's even on it at all.

Actually now that I think about it more I don't think I'll see it Sunday since my grandma is planning a lunch for my brother's birthday that Sunday.  And also this may sound a bit stupid, but what makes a B-movie a B-movie?

I hated that movie so much.  Last I saw was Alice in Wonderland, I liked it but they really needed to diffrenciate from the Queen of Hearts and the Red Queen because they aren't the same person.

B-Movies are essentially kinda non mainstream, low budget type movies that people like me watch cause we find them cheesy and enjoyable.  The original Clash of the Titans would be considered a B-Movie. Pretty much anything made by Roger Corman would be considered a B-Movie.

Also, I'd say anything on Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MANOS AND THE HANDS OF FATE~) or by director Ed Wood always qualifies.

And on another tangent entirely...

I'm looking forward to Kick-Ass. Looks pretty funny.

A friend of mine liked it. I can already see it's gotta have mixed opinions. :P

I might see it anyway though.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Saw Clash of the Titans.  Overall, I enjoyed it, it's entertaining at the least and the creatures I liked, and the Djinn.

If it comes down to it, I prefer the original, but can't really compare the two.

I'll probably be watching the movie adaptation of 1984, and Koyaanisqatsi too.

Saw the Transformers movie by Michael Bay on TV last night.
... That's it?
Megatron... That's it!?
... -AC

I recommend you go and watch (or re watch) the 80's animated transformer movie because the live action sequel isn't any better. Seriously, it'll wash the bad taste from your mouth.

Like mentioned below Iron Man 2 is a must see in the future.

Instead of How to Train a Dragon, we saw Repo Men (not the musical one PB, though I never saw that one).

It was a hell lot better than I expected and very much liked it overall.

I just watched Koyaanisqatsi and I must say, I think Godfrey Reggio was high when he made this movie. It's like staring into a gaping bottomless hole into the ground.

Watched How to train your Dragon yesterday.

I'm surprised, it's better than I thought and to think I have no interest whatsoever before it. Toothless is so cute.  <3

Oh, believe me, I have watched the original.
As for the sequel... I'll wait for the TV premiere.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Ain't touching the sequel with a ten-foot pole, even if it is a tv showing.  It'd still end up sucking away two hours of my life that I would never get back, and I'd much rather spend those two hours doing something else that's a bit more enjoyable.

Yep, translating Aurebesh is definitely more enjoyable.  Same with learning to read Braille.

I noticed that I spelled Aurebesh right, but I misspelled "misspelled..." The irony is not lost on me.

The most recent movies I've seen were all on MST3K. The best ones I saw, which isn't saying much, were The Final Sacrifice, but only because saying Rowsdower is fun, and Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, which had Raul Julia. Neither of them were that good, but that's why MST3K satirized them in the first place.

Rowsdower.
