I just thought of something.


Please, oh, please, god of Megaman, tell me you can beat the entire game from start to finish without getting a SINGLE piece of armor?!

I intend to speed run this game when, or if you ever finish this project. And speedrunning is kinda boring when you have armor. And it just takes away the fun in the game to require armor to beat the game.

Like in Megaman X6, that was horrible.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna be all over that game like white on rice.

There is a way to beat X6 without Armor, it´s a stupid way, but Hyper is the biggest defender of it.

Does it require using Zero?

'Cuz I didn't like Zero after X3. His sprites looked lame to me. And he was all saber attacks, and I just didn't like it.

And X looked cool with the saber attack, but only in X3, then after that, the saber attack just looked like an excuse to use another key.

Nope it's normal X but you need certain items equipped and usage of Blizzard Wolfang's weapon.

Hey JKB have you though of making the arm upgrades 2-shot based like in X2 X3?
I think there's not much difference between the arm upgrades of the hydra and phoenix armors.
I think it would be cooler (and harder to program) to be able to charge 2 (or maybe 3) shots, and like in X3 is you shoot consecutively they merge to make a more powerful shot.
Just an idea i wanted to throw

The Megaman X3 shot was lame. I mean, it looked cool.

But it sucked balls for speedrunning. It's so delayed, and you often just take a hit before you actually shoot, and at that point, you've already wasted a shot.

The X2 shot was pretty awesome, though. Less delay, and it just looked cooler.

Granted. It could be improved, but again the concept is still raw and it can be developed into something awesome.

Phoenix and Hydra buster are done.

Like VirusX said, the delay on X3 shot was absurd, X2 a little less but still annoying.

None of the Megaman X games were really hard, except for Megaman X8, and Megaman X7.
Except Sigma, he's always hard to beat. Except in X6.

Man, speaking of which, I haven't been THIS excited over a Megaman game since Megaman X6, and believe me, that counts for a whole lot.

It does not. Air movement will be gained when defeating bosses.
You can even go further and not upgrade any weapon.

Yes it will, much yet now that I included Lives.
There is also another un-lockable difficulty much harder than S Class.

Sounds awesome, it's the first I'd heard of this new difficulty.

X starting out with the leg upgrades in his legparts seems like it will make this game speedrunner-friendly.
