Mad Max.

It's a really fun game, and I dont know why it keeps getting [parasitic bomb] on in reviews. Although I did see a review that complained Furiosa wasn't in it, so that actually explains a lot about that.

gameplaywise, the combat is almost identical to the Arkham games. I havent played Knight, so I cant say if the driving controls are similar- but the driving is arguably the most fun part. The open world is fairly well done IMO, with plenty of landmarks to prevent it from looking too samey. The customization isnt bad, but it does take some real scrap digging, which is really the incentive to play the game. To play dress up with Max and build your car up.

it also looks quite pretty. It's a good looking game and they know it, which is why it's got a screenshot mode.

I downloaded Mad Max just tonight. Gonna play it this weekend after I start getting sick of Phantom Pain, probably.

I've been revisiting the Silent Hill series these past couple of weeks. Beat SH1-3 and I'm starting 4 today. I will play all of them except Shattered Memories, because I don't feel like setting up the Wii and I played that one recently anyway.

I can never decide my favorite between 1, 2 and 3. SH3 is the most fun gameplay-wise, while 2 has the best story and 1 is still the scariest, blocky PS1 graphics and everything. To me those are their greatest strengths, although that's not to say they don't deliver where the other excels.

Thought I'd remember less of these games considering how long it's been, but I guess I've played so much of them in the past that it's hard to make them feel fresh again. It's no big deal, though, I'm having a great time.

Flame, since you're playing Mad Max, I got a code for a sort of contest entry or something. But that doesn't matter because that code also gets you game content.

Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess

Traps--traps everywhere---muhahaha. No seriously I love this series-I guess I would call it a puzzle game?

Just finished Life is Strange episode 1.

It's not too bad. Despite being a teen drama, it never actually gets cheesy or melodramatic. That's a huge plus, in my book. The reversing time element is fairly cool, too.

Mad Max is pretty cool.

I wouldn't have bought it at $60 but at $20 its a [tornado fang]ing excellent game.

Replaying MGS3:HD on my Vita. No plans on attempting the Plat (collect one of every food item AND get all 64 Kerotans? Nope.), and I'll prolly go back to MGS2:HD or Atelier Meruru when I'm done.

Really wanna get some new games, but I'm still tryin' to save money.

My Twitch channel. Random streams during the week.
Currently streaming: Transformers: Devastation

Life is Strange episode 3 is complete.

Okay, I'm really freaking psyched to play the next episode. The cliffhanger was mindfuck, even if I did predict the final moments. Some of the time traveling aspects are too convenient and doesn't work logically, but for user interface purposes, I can excuse it.

The dialogue is top-notch, so that helps. Maybe not quite on the level of other episodic graphic adventures like The Walking Dead, but it's definitely fantastic.

Playing Far Cry 4 to see if that's a better prospective series to work on.

... the answer is probably not.

Far Cry 2 is the best one.

Not for plot reasons, but for the punishing gameplay.

Far Cry 4 is probably my favorite plot-wise though.

I know I am very late to the party, but The Last of Us was on sale on PSN for just $10 and I bought it. :D

I gotta take a little break from games for a few days 'cause I just did a huge Silent Hill marathon, but I'm hyped.

Going back old school with Dune II (PC). Nostalgia still makes it worth playing over and over again.

Fear me.

Got my New 3DS with Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer.  I have to say it's a good pick up and play sort of game, though I wonder if it would have made a better eShop title than a full game.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

If you can't roam around and take care of your town, I'm not interested. At least not for full price.

Doesn't help matters that you can't have your own house.

Yeah and you can't change your shirt either, everything else you can change including your face.  But yeah don't buy it at full price, I didn't mind since it was part of the bundle but it's really not worth the full price even though it is fun to me since I loves me some interior decorating and landscape architecting.

Finishing up Far Cry 4, and when I've had enough of that... thing, I've been playing MGS V Phantom Pain. Just... so much better.

It's a good game. Just a terrible story with terrible characters and some pretty terrible mechanics involved.

But as a GAME? As a GAME it's good.
