I got pissed because a Gun Cypher was [tornado fang]ing hiding on the Strut L oil fence behind a pipe and I didn't see it when I was destroying things.

Been playing the new Strider that came out last year. Got it from the steam sale since it was another "metroidvania" and had good reviews. Really glad I picked it up. I'll likely go back and try some of the older titles even if they may be rather different (or not?). For now though, I'm having a blast in this one. One of those games I can actually stand to play more than an hour straight of.

Yeah, I liked it when I played through it. The last section was a bit of a jump in difficulty, but otherwise well paced.

The older ones aren't Metroidvania, but still fun.

Currently alternating between Star Ocean: TteoT and Sonic Riders Zero Gravity while I wait for my copy of Fire Pro Returns to get here.

3DS-wise, alternating between Senran Kagura Burst, Smash Bros. and Iron Combat: War In The Air.

The first one is rough, but I still liked it. The second one is holding up surprisingly well though, somewhat crappy translation aside.
