To be honest, I didn't read much about it. I keep hearing about it, so I downloaded it because whatever.

Archer

I don't get you, you constantly say you don't have time to do/play/watch things you're interested in checking out but then out of nowhere you'll grab something random 'because whatever.'

You're weird.

Phi

I probably won't play that for a while, either. I have a ton of games on backlog, but I download/buy them for whenever I do get the chance to play them.

I bought Arkham Asylum, for example, and didn't play it until like 4 years later. I just like having options.

That's not to say I just get random games. I get something if I hear a lot of positive things about it and/or see promising gameplay.

The most american game is probably Metal Wolf Chaos from what I hear. It was even on the most american console, the Xbox.

Too bad it never released outside of Japan!

An instant favorite and classic for sure~ the most funniest and patriotic game around.

Hey does Shovel Knight auto save or do I have to fine a place to save?
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Phi

It auto-saves whenever you go to the world map.

It also auto-saves after you exit the options menu.

Sakura Leic

Thanks, also what the heck does the Chaos Sphere do?
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Phi

The Chaos Sphere is a relic. It's a projectile that bounces like a ball, hitting enemies in its path.

You can use relics by pressing up and Y.

Sakura Leic

Okay, I think I'm all set for when I play next time.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

So the only feats I have left to get in Shovel Knight are finishing the game in less than 1 hour 30 minutes and finishing without dying/falling into pits/relics. Currently working on a no death/pits run, then I'll tackle the no relics run, and then the speedrun will be last.

Phi

I hope New Game+ counts for the 1 hour, 30 minutes speedrun.

Mirby

I don't think it does, since your time is carried over in a New Game+

Or at least everything I've read seems to indicate it doesn't count.

I was playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn but I'm about done with that, maybe its about time I started on some of those games I got during the Steam Sale.

Mr. Haxwell

Went back to Disgaea. Still wasting away in the item world, with two god-sues, I shamefully created.

Both of 'em already dealing more or less 100K damage, each.

Fear me.

[parasitic bomb]. Uh, been a while.

I found my old copy of Mega Man ZERO Collection, remembered that franchise actually exists, then decided to run the Easy Scenario like someone who sucks at games.

Also I'm playing Crysis 2 and watch_doges

Finally started Transistor. Pretty rad. Gonna not try and spoil myself on it like every goddamn other thing I've played. I say this now but I know I'll slip up somewhere later.

Archer

Is it even possible not to spoil yourself? I fail every time I try.

This is one game you do NOT want to spoil. Don't worry about needing walkthroughs or anything as the game's mostly straightforward. The game's also about 5-10 hours and I guarantee you won't get bored of it.

Last night I did a speedy run through Ninja Gaiden NES (21 minutes, couple deaths but no game overs), and also finished Mega Man 4. No buster playthrough. It's basically auto-pilot in this game after acquiring Dust and Pharaoh Shot. Helps that the arsenal here is one of the best. It's pretty funny to charge the Pharaoh Shot above your head and slide through entire sections unscathed/without spending any ammo.

By the way, I'm thinking about playing through Mega Man Legends again after I'm done with Dark Souls 2 DLC. I've beaten this game once but I don't remember much about it. Any tips for OP equipment to look out for?

Hypershell

So far as weapon upgrades go, make your choice early on between the Machine Buster or the Powered Buster.  I prefer the latter, but both are solid.  Don't bother upgrading any other special weapon until you get the Active Buster (you almost can't miss it; Roll makes it from a single part found in one of the last ruins, after the Flutter is repaired).

Make DAMN SURE you save your game before going on police sub-quests.  There's one that involves disarming two bombs that you only get one shot at; if you succeed then Roll can make you some solid buster parts out of the bombs.

Nice, thanks!

I finished Dark Souls 2 DLC. This is the first extra chapter out of 3, the other two will be released in August and September.

It was pretty good. Unlike Artorias of the Abyss in DkS1, this one had amazing levels but disappointing bosses. In DkS1 it was the other way around.

Tomodachi Life.
Because pretending you're playing a crossover game where anime characters live together on a small island never gets old. -u-'

That reminds me I should get back to Cherry Tree High Comedy Club and Long Live The Queen.
