I hear Bravely Default starts to get tedious around chapter 5 or so. Is that true?
Since I spoiled myself on the story I can confirm it does, I'll still get the game anyway though.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Police Girl

I also started up Danganronpa.

And almost immediately was made aware that the main character has the same VA as Tiz. And Asbel, and that loser from the MMO Anime about swords.

Phi

Clefant pls stop watching and playing stuff I want to watch and play

Mr. Haxwell

Stumbled upon a ROM hack named Pokemon Liquid Crystal. I'm still kinda shocked to encounter a Gen III pokemon at the start. But this game has some things I wish to explore before considering it to be out of place.

Fear me.

Cherrykorock

Just finished Project X Zone, Kirby 2, Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES), and am now working on Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for Gamegear. It has taken 20 years but I finally got past the hang gliding part!!  O:<

I'm just playing random games until Dark Souls 2 arrives, nothing big planned for the next couple weeks. Right now I'm cruising through Parasite Eve NG+. You destroy everything in this game's NG+ except for that damn final boss...

Fxeni

The new Strider. It's fun, although I feel like maybe I should've started on Hard right away.

Yes. Chapter 5-7 you're doing the exact same thing over and over with almost no dialogue changes. Totally worth it, though.

Amatiramisu

The reboot is good so I decided to try and get more into the series and download the PC version of The Forgotten Sands.

Way different from the Wii version. WAAAY different. Totally different game.

Da Dood

Got 18 minutes in NG1 two more times. I don't know if I can cut that time with my current knowledge of the game, but I'm happy I'm consistent at beating this in under 20 minutes and with no lives lost.

I think I'm gonna start Parasite Eve 2 tonight.

Dr. Wily II

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Blue Valkyrie

Been playing Rayman Legends, between this and Origins I'm so happy to see classic Rayman back again with those stupid rabbits takings a hike. Both games have a great art style and the level design really reminds me of the old DKC games with some unique gimmick in each stage. Also the music; so good.

To be fair you also get a bit of elaboration on a few characters's backstories through all this though.
And also Holly and Barras totally gettin' it on
Over the weekend I played and finished Choro Q/Penny Racers Wii. Waggly as all hell and short. Not special parts like Choro Q3 for PSX or HG4 for PS2. It would seem they exchanged their actual development budget for the budget to licence the car names.

If you haven't already, check out the NES Strider (heard that this one kinda has non-linear gameplay too) as well as Strider 2 (I've been enjoying this one so far) for the PS1; Strider 2 also includes a port of the original arcade game.

For some reason I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood again, but now on PC with more 60fps and less load times etc etc. I suppose it is my favourite of the series despite only playing a borrowed PS3 copy before.

Flame

Anyone play Orion: Dino horde?

Its free this week I think.

It's also 1 dollar either way.

its fun

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Thief is out. Backlogging everything else for this.

I heard it was unfocused and mediocre, compared to the previous Thief games. Then again, that's what critics said, and I'm not sure what the fans think.

I can't judge for myself until I finally get to the first game, which has been collecting dust on my GOG account.

I saw the reviews generally hung in the 6-8/10 range. I torrented it. If I really like it, I'll buy it next sale.

Lords of Shadow 2. Im finding it very hard to put down.  Has its issues,  but overall i think its positives outweigh the few negatives.

Particularly: this game is pretty. very very pretty. And the music is great. Much improvement over the original's score, which was good, but perhaps a bit too generically "big budget Hollywood ".

The reviews are all mostly full of bullshit.Though sadly its turning people away.
