I went to the beach, so I took a break from Majora's Mask. Replayed Mega Man ZX and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow these past few days.
Did some sequence breaking in Aria of Sorrow. It was okay, but I should have tried harder for a Giant Ghost shield, because the first half of the Death fight was a pain.
As for ZX, wow. Played Hard mode for the first time. Had to finish the nurse's boring side quest for the only Sub-Tank they give us on Hard. No energy bar upgrades either, and since I had no Internet there, I didn't know where to find the various food items, the quick charge chip or the invincibility extension. It was hell. I did remember the E Tank, though, which saved me countless times.
I killed the final boss with 1px left, after many many retries (actually I only managed to finish the game in the car, on my way back home...).
I hate the exaggerated backtracking in ZX and this time it was no different, but I did learn to appreciate some bosses a lot more. Hurricaune, Lurerre, Prometheus, Pandora and Serpent are brilliant fights.
