Remus slowly approached Alice. He put one arm on her shoulder.

"I appreciate the sentiments, you furry mess, but I don't want to hear it...anyway, what the hell did she mean by "another one to add"? Freaking crazy [sonic slicer]..."

Hearts ate his meal slowly and carefully. He was suddenly surprised by the vampire madam coming in, petals spinning 'round her like an army of excited puppies.

"Gah!" He was surprised to see her face again.

"Hearts, I have awakened to find entruders, how long have they been in the castle?"

"Well, a couple of weeks, really.."

"Yet how come you did not defeat them?"

"We weren't called to vanquish them, the doctor had been screwing with them for the while."

"I see..."

"Well, you could always sit here and have some lunch!"

He showed her a seat as skeleton butlers served her plates of rich food. She quietly ate it.

"I suppose months of sleep builds up an appetite.." Mumbled Hearts.

[Flame]

The strange vampire hunter ran at fast speeds through a dark corridor. He reached a right corner, and quickly turned an changed direction. A few seconds behind him were Hell hounds and werewolves chasing him. After a few twists and turns, they reached an open balcony. The Hunter quickly stepped up the small border and kicked off with amazing height. He landed on a  tower rooftop, and looked back. His pursuers were not as lucky, failing to anticipate the sudden dead end, and went crashing off the end of the balcony into a bloody splat on the roof below.

"Idiots."

He stood there for a bit, and looked up. this far up in the castle he was above the stormy clouds. He could see the full moon. He stared at it a while, then kicked off the roof horizontally, crashing right through a stained glass window into a chapel.

" !! "

"The castle chapel..."

But he quickly became serious again and regained his composure. He looked around and saw the balcony above the altar. He jumped up to it, and went through it's door into the next corridor, which was lined on the side with large stained glass windows.

(You and Lisa have found Alucard and got attacked by a vampire called Jarby who uses cards.  Remus, Alice, Ammes and Bluebeard are wandering around in the search for the other groups. Dan is with Soul and Strange Man somewhere around, Dan is under the influence of a drug...welcome back )

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice brought herself up onto her feet, swaying slightly as she tried to find her balance. She put a hand under her chest where there was a large gash.

"Damnit, that hurts..." She closed her eyes tightly.

[Blackhook]

Meanwhile

The card playing vampire approached Mirby.

" Well, how is it? Don´t you want to play a little game? C´mon  to make it more interesting we can make a bet. If you win then I am going to tell you about the location of the Giant bat..."

Inside Frankensteins lab, the doctor was having a conversation with a grim, cloaked figure - Death himself.

" First Alucard, then the were beasts and now even the vampires! As if the hunters weren´t enough! You should have taken care of them sooner! Even Sedina is rampaging the castle!"

"Oh, I wouldn´t worry about Dracula´s pet, she´s just having a little fun he-he. Also I think that the intruders will take care of the vampires for us, maybe the two parties will destroy each other, that would make matters easier, am I right?."

" How can you be so calm Frankenstein? Do you have something planned?"

"Not really my lord, it´s just I am not wasting my time inside this lab. Let´s put it this way. The longer the intruders are inside this castle, the lower is their chance to survive..."

[Mirby]

"What kind of game?" Mirby asked.

[Blackhook]

"You´re interested? GOOD! That´s enough for me to start the game!"

The room around them started twisting around. It was slowly changing into something like a cardhouse made of large cards. From the roof was hanging a hourglass. Mirby looked around to find out that she was alone. She looked at Jarby, who´s suit become white and sported various card motives. He was holding two cards in his hand with the pictures of Alucard and Lisa on them.

"Are you looking for these? Well, My bet is crucial information that you need, so I figured you have to bet something of equal value. I guess your friends here should be enough."

The vampire jumped high to the roof. He was hanging from the roof next to the hourglass.

"The rules are simple. You must survive this game of poker for 20 minutes. I will draw 5 cards every 4 minutes. Then you have to face what I draw."

Jarby showed the deck of cards he was holding. He drew five cards. The countdown started.

"Let´s see. 4 of Heart, 6 of Club, Queen of Heart, 2 of Diamond, 7 of Club....HIGH CARD!"

Jarby threw the cards down. But the cards didn´t land, instead a muscular humanoid landed in front of Mirby. He was completely white except for 5 tatoos that were placed on his face (Heart), shoulders (Club, Heart) chest (Diamond) and stomach (Club). The humanoid then proceeded to attack the girl with  a barrage of punches. The punches were a bit stronger than the punch of a regular human.

"If you manage to defeat the high card, then I will imidiately draw new cards as replacement. But if you can´t defeat it before the next four minutes, then you will have to face the High card AND whatever I draw next."

(Note: The Summoned monster is invincible if you don´t hit it´s weak point. Can you figure it out? hint: I didn´t list the drawn cards for nothing  )

Mirby blocked the barrage and hit the tattoos. Heart, Club, Heart, Diamond, Club, she hit in that order...

[Blackhook]

The tatoos vanished and the being disolved into thin air. Jarby starred speechlessly at what just happened. He tried very hard not to lose his composture. None of his opponents were ever able to figure out the weakness of his card creatures.

"I-It seems you are quite clever.GOOD,  B-But that was just the weakest possible opponent you could get. Next Round!"

Jarby drew another five cards: 5 of Spade, 6 of Heart, 5 of club, 6 of Diamond, 2 of heart.

" TWO PAIRS!"

A new creature stood against Mirby. This time it was a female looking humanoid with a cannon for each arm. The tattoos were located on her shoulders ( Spade, Club), The tips of the cannons (Heart, Heart) and her chest (Diamond)
The humanoid then started to fire rapid energy blasts at Mirby. This creature was a lot of stronger than High card and also much faster.

[Mirby]

"Leaf? What kind of suit is that?" She attacked the tattoos in order again. Leaf, Heart, Club, Diamond, Heart. It was tricky to do so and dodge the blasts, but she managed to pull it off.

Just like her predecesor the Two Pairs fall appart. Jarby was getting more and more nervous, but then looked at the hourglass and drew the next five cards: 7 of Spade, heart and diamond, 3 of heart, Jack of diamond = 3 of a kind.
Jarby summoned a large humanoid with four arms holding 3 sword and a 1 shield. The tatoos were located on his hands (L: Diamond, diamond, R: Heart, Heart) and his face (Spade).

Jarby smiled and drew another five cards. This time it was a Full House (4 of Spade, Diamond, Club, and Jack of  Heart and Club).

The Full House was a large monster resembling a half human- half dragon. The tattos were located on it´s hands(Club,Club) , shoulders (Diamond, Heart) and face (Spade). This creature was even larger than the 3 of a kind and also much faster, stronger and it could breath fire.

[Mirby]

"Two this time, eh? No problem!" She dutifully struck the tattoos in order in rhythmic fashion on the large humanoid, and repeating the process with the draconian monstrosity. "What an easy game!"

[Blackhook]

Jarby was shocked by the sudden outcome of events. He was shaking. He couldn´t believe that this girl could beat him this easily. he slowly put his hand on top of the deck. There was no way he would give up! He believed into the heart of the...he believed in his luck. He pulled the five cards and looked at them. A diabolic grin crossed his face.

"FIVE OF A KIND! 4 ACES ONE JOKER! THIS IS IT LITTLE GIRL! YOU LOSE!"

This time the cards merged with Jarby and took the form of a black and red Jester who was carrying to large tomahawks. This time there were no tattoos on his body. Five of a kind Jarby then proceeded to attack Mirby.

[Er... Sorry to have to ask this, but could someone please tell me what's going on?]

(Nothing much...Flame´s chara´s wandering around killin´ stuff, Mirby has a weird fight with a vampire to save Alucard and Lisa. Alice is hurt after her fight with another vampire, Ammes, Bluebeard and Remus are with her.)

[Mirby]

"Ooh, no tattoos. Finally, a challenge!" Mirby started dodging the attacks, slashing up the monstrosity, and looking for the weak point.

[Blackhook]

Every wound caused to Jester Jarby was healed instantly.

"Gya-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Not GOOD, not GOOD at all!"

Jarby trapped Mirby´s sword with one tomahawk and then slashe the girl with his second one.

[Mirby]

Mirby flew back against the wall in pain. "Whew... how the hell am I supposed to slay this monster if there's no tattoos?" She looked him up and down. She decided to make a giant lunge right where his heart would be, if he were human...
