Sheep's last attack, although it gave him his victory, damaged MK quite a bit which together with the fatigue of making a lot of duplicates and the damage he had taken before caused him to faint.

"Hmm. Mr.Steel, it seems that the boy has been disqualified from the tournament...and he has yet to use the chip." Scope Man told his operator in a annoyed tone.

"I can see that Scope Man...luckily, I have more chips were that came from, just incase this would happen." Akira responded, as he got out from the trashcan dressed in a uniform much like the one the work crew were wearing.

"...Mr.Steel, where exactly did you get that suit?"

"Let's just say I was a master of arts and crafts back in highschool."

The sly man took out a spray of air freshener from his pocket and sprayed it all over himself. After he was done sanitizing himself, he threw the can away in the recepticle and began walking towards the winners lounge.

"Hmm...I think that chainsaw navi might prove to be a good guinea pig..."

"Let's get ready for one hell of a battle!" WombatMan yelled enthusiastically. And then he tried to roar... It didn't sound that intimidating...

"Yeahh... might want to never do that again..."

The young man who was rushing his way towards the terminals did not watch where he was going and he roughly bumped into one of the tournaments maintanance staff.

CM launched at WM, moving much faster than he previously had, now leaving after-images behind him. The after-images were sparking with electricity. After a couple steps, CM jumped into the air and came down with a vertical slash, his after-images doing the same.

WombatMan stood there for a second and waited for the attacks to come just a little... closer... and then his eyes glinted. His fur became streamlined and he dodged each attack a split-second before it would've hit him. "You can do better than that!" he snarled. And then he burrowed into the ground!

"Grr, damn brats. No respect towards their elders!" The man shouted and left to meet with the other staff members...or so it seemed.

"Did you manage to give him the chip, Mr. Steel?" A electronic voice asked from his pocket.

"Yep. I switched it with one of his own chips while he wasn't looking." The man had a crooked smile.

"Are you sure he will use it, Mr. Steel?"

"Of course, the chip is designed to look like your everyday battle chip...course there's just a 10% chance he will actually pick that chip among the one he has...let's just see what happens."

The man hid in a corner and pointed his P.E.T. at the terminal where Mirby and Chainsaw Man's operator were having a match. The navi was instantly logged into the stadium's terminal and he began to watch the two navi's fight.

"You, set up the battle between Crusader and Mirror Knight, then go and help out in the kitchen" Tryn said without a second glance at the man.

Shortly after CM's attack missed and hit the ground, the chainsaw went deeper as each afterimage caught up with him, the last one resulting in a small explosion. He looked around in the resulting smoke, waiting for WM to reappear.

"Er, right...I'll go do that." Akira told the host of this fine tournamet, cold sweat ran down the back of his neck.

The man headed straight toward the vacant terminal.

"Now lets see...how do I work this thing?" The man started pushing some random buttons.

Tryn glanced at the man setting up the terminal.
"What are you doing, your supposed to create the grid of the field, then place a limiter shield so the arena doesn't crash, never mind, just go and help out the chefs in the kitchen, these people eat like mad!" He said, pointing towards a food court of tents and generators with picnic tables scattered around.

"Got it boss! Never was good with computers anyway." The man rushed towards the direction Tryn had pointed towards.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to pose as a chef's assistant for a while. Luckily, Scope Man can handle the rest of research while I'm away." Akira thought to himself as he entered one of the tents.

That was close...WombatMan thought to himself. He positioned himself directly under ChainsawMan's feet and started to spin rapidly. The data around him became caught up in the vortex and he rose up and Taylor slotted in a GoldFist chip. He rose with the force of a bullet train and took ChainsawMan into the air. Taylor proceeded to successively slot-in a Sword, a WideSword, and a LongSword, giving WombatMan a LifeSword for one of his arms. She did it again, and the tornado became a blender of destruction.

CM was caught in WM's attack, his armor rapidly chipping off. "ACK!" He was flung around like a ragdoll. "I'm not bein' taken out like this!" He shouted, letting out a large burst of electricity that surrounded him.

"WombatMan! Cease the attack!" Taylor yelled. WombatMan quickly did a flip and flung ChainsawMan to the ground before the attack connected. WombatMan landed a short distance away. "Battle Chip, Barrier! Slot In!" A barrier was erected around WombatMan.

Chainsawman landed, little bits of his armor falling off. "Well, that was fun. My turn!" He shouted, charging at Wombatman.

"Heh, I can play the program advance card, too." Sean said, swiftly slotting in a FireSword, AquaSword, and Elecsword, forming a LifeSword 2, which replaced Chainsawman's chainsaw. "Activate code: R4P1D-DR4G0N"

Chainsawman's visible eye gleamed as he suddenly broke off his forward rush to start rapidly circling Wombatman, with enough afterimages to make it look like there were 8 of him, all facing Wombatman. "Lightning God's 8-Point Star!" He shouted, the after images stopping as Chainsawman dashed across from one 'point' to another point, slashing at Wombatman on each pass.
