That's assuming that initial Maverick Zero, with no Saber & possibly a Buster, could beat Mega Man, a robot constantly being upgraded during the same timeframe of Zero's construction who also has way more experience than any other robot in existence. Yea, it would totally be an unfair fight, but not in Zero's favor.
