Alice in Entropy

Lucky, with some very careful piloting, narrowly managed to dodge all of the sonic booms being fired at him. He smiled.

"So, that's how we're gonna play? Okay then!"

He pressed a button on the control panel, and a glow of light bathed the ship. After a short transformation sequence, wherein the ship had gained arms, legs and a head to gain a humanoid form, the ship had transformed entirely.

"Here we go!" declared Lucky from the head-cockpit of his new mech, "Lucky Champion, GO!"

Black Mage J

Once Nova escaped from the twitchy pixels of the arcades of RPM and got his vision to focus, he noticed fire and robots and things that reminded him of some kind of robot apocalypse or roboypse for those caught in the one sided battle. Before doing anything rash, he wondered if there was still anyone alive in the capital.
As Nova was thinking, a Zero Joe struck through his core, enraging Nova as he swept his blazing hand and cut the android's head off "Seems they want to exterminate everyone in and possibly around this city." Before getting the taste of hot plasma again, Nova rushed off, thinking to himself How did he know my core was my weakness?

The 3 didn't flinched, and began to do a sort of bow, only to reveal that the top orb was glowing rather rapidly, and each of the 3 fired off a huge energy blast.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Lucky cried out as the beam ploughed through the Lucky Champion. The mech held its hands out to try and keep the brunt of the damage to a minimum. He grit his teeth, trying to get his machine to respond.

"Come on! I can't lose now," he said to himself. The mech, which was powered by Lucky's determination, slowly clenched its fists.

Blackhook

Ok bastard, cricket is not your sport, but that doesn´t mean you can ignor me! HOLZ DART!
Blackhook created 5 large wooden darts and fired them at the orbs of the nearest orbitus.

Black Mage J

Nova shot volleys of fake-plasma arrows, trying to defend the dwindling population against the might of the robots, some knew where to hit, which gave Nova an even harder time trying to keep everyone in check. He couldn't save the entire city, he knew that, but he could at least escort a few out.

Dr. Wily II

The 2 Orbituses still in Barrier mode moved in to block the darts, splintering them easier, with the splinters raining down on the city below.

The other 3 continued their barrage on Lucky.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Black Mage J

As Nova found a confided area to hold a few survivors, he turned to face the enemy, particularly, the ones hovering about the city. Closing his eyes he imagined the way the sword shooting man used his bow. he aimed at one of the orbs machines, concentrating on a way to get a critical hit without much experience. Vapor came off his arms and legs and became an arrow of pure energy, encased in whatever he could absorb form earth. With that he let the arrow sing towards it's target.

Nova then yelled "Do you need any help over there?"

Blackhook

Guess my wooden attacks still aren´t strong enough, oh well. Back to basics.
A sudden burst of wind blew the splinters away. BH directed the wind towards the robots on the ground, piercing them with the sharp splinters.
A question my round friends...can you stand a tornado?

Lucky could already feel the mech beginning to wane and wear under the beam's energy and the pressure being put on him. Teeth clenched, he tried his hardest to ignore the severe damage being done to the machine. Too much longer and it would be crushed, blown to pieces with Lucky still inside. he energy readings flickered and fainted, tired and struggling, barely able to stay above the minimal level of functioning.

If he lost now, what would the point of all his training be? He couldn't defeat Roa, even in a one-on-one duel. The whole reason for his training was so he could become stronger, so he could help save the day. He remembered everything Deathwatch had put him through.

The fire. The cannonballs. The cave. The beast. Lucky could remember it all. Every cut, every scrape, every bite, every burn, every bruise, every wound, every cry, every time he felt he couldn't go on, but went on anyway. Through blood, sweat and tears, he got through his training. He could get through this.

A hero is someone who gets up, even when they can't.

These words echoed through his mind. He wanted to be a hero, more than anything else. Now was the time to prove it.

"I..."

Lucky shut his eyes and gripped the throttles on the controls tighter.

"Can't..."

A single bead of sweat fell down his forehead. He focussed all of his energy, both mental and physical, into the Lucky Champion mech. Slowly and steadily, the energy readings began to pick back up again.

"LOSE!"

Lucky shoved the throttles forward, pushing the machine to its maximum potential. In that instant, the energy readings spiked upwards, immediately blasting up to their maximum limits. In one brief moment, they had gone from barely functioning to barely being kept from bursting through their limitations. Lucky's eyes and the star emblem on his hand began to blow a brilliant blue colour. The area around the Lucky Champion exploded with a magnificent aura of cobalt energy. The aura of fiery blue energy spreads to every part of its body, bathing it in a splendid glow.

"This is the power of STAR ENERGY!"

Without hesitation, the Lucky Champion marched straight through the Orbitus armada's combined laser beam. It pulled its arm back.

"I won't lose to the likes of you! So get ready! This is it! Feel the full power of all my hope and determination! AMAZING SUPERSTAR COSMIC FIST!"

With one last exertion of energy, the Lucky Champion threw its blazing blue arm at the Orbitus armada and slammed its cosmic-powered fist into them, releasing with it a mighty blast of celestial energy.

But...

Who will be left standing?

Black Mage J

With a jump, Nova stared at the blue celestial energy.
"This guy can control that power? He's extremely powerful if he can wield such power!"
Nova flew toward where the battle had been decided, but who was the winner?

Blackhook

Amazing...such determination...
Blackhook landed on top of the nearest building, he couldn´t stand in the air for much longer. He then noticed Nova.
Hey you! Go help that kid, I don´t know if he was succesful or not, but he needs to be carried away, that last attacck must have tired him.

Black Mage J

"I was gonna do that anyways, boy, he didn't have to use celestial energy to pound himself into the ground." Grabbing Lucky from the rubble of the battle, he went over to where the other man was standing. "And who, pray tell are you? And what is happening? And what are you going to do?"

[Dude, no. Leave it. The battle isn't over yet, and Lucky's still in the mech. The smoke/blaze of blue hasn't even cleared yet.]

Dr. Wily II

As the smoke slowly cleared, it seemed that attack worked on 2 Orbituses, as they began to cackle and explode, raining down their parts onto the city below. One managed to change back into it's Barrier mode. That makes 3 Orbituses left, in their Barrier mode, slowly spinning on their own axis.

Waiting.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

The Lucky Champion's aura quickly began to fade away, its energy levels dropping back to normal as quickly as they had increased. It was now standing limply, barely remaining upright, as Lucky panted slowly and steadily inside the cockpit of the head. Now that his brief moment of energy had subsided, the damage he had been ignoring was visible, even on the pilot himself.

Lucky managed a small grin. "Well, it was fun while it lasted...fun...while it...lasted..."

He fainted from the exhaustion, and the mech collapsed as well. He had used up all of his available energy.

Dr. Wily II

The 3 Barrier Orbituses hovered over to the falling mech, and managed to catch it within their formation. And then, they teleported away, leaving any bystanders dumbfounded.

Back at the hanger under the WDS, the 3 Orbituses reappeared, and deposited their cargo onto the floor with a thud. From the shadows, DWII appeared and walked up to the mech, where the cockpit has sprung open from the thud. He continued up, and as staring face to face with the unconscious Lucky.

"It's been a while... Lucky. Guards, bring our guest to the throne room." 2 Zero Joes stepped up, and proceeded with DWII's command.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Alice in Entropy

Lucky, completely out cold, was unable to resist at all. His limp body was carried away by the bad Doctor's troops, to whatever dark fate awaited the poor lad.

Dr. Wily II

At the throne room, the Zero Joes placed Lucky on a specially-made chair, and cuffed him up to it. Another Zero Joe came in with a pail of water, which DWII took, and splashed it's contents onto the unconscious Lucky, shocking him awake.

"Why, hello there Lucky. Nice of you to join us today. Feeling comfortable?" DWII asked with a smirk.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Alice in Entropy

Lucky coughed and spluttered as the water was dropped on him. Instinctively, he tried to get up, only to find he was held down to the chair by the metal cuffs. He tried to recall what had happened, and memories of the previous fight came flooding back to him.

"Wily...what do you want?" he asked.

Dr. Wily II

"Oh... Nothing really..." DWII turned his back towards Lucky.

"Just... An example for the citizens of RPM who dare to oppose me... You know what I mean?" To which, DWII laughed. A sinister laugh.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Alice in Entropy

Lucky frowned.

"You won't win, Wily. You just outnumbered me, that's all. I'm still not...backing down. Not now. Never!"

Dr. Wily II

"Perhaps not now. But..." DWII turned back to face Lucky, and stare right at him.

"Perhaps you will change your mind after what I have in store for you, my precious Lucky."

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Alice in Entropy

"Do what you want, you'll never get me to talk." Lucky stuck his tongue out derisively at the Doctor. "Just try it! I dare you!"
