Is Open Canvas the program that had the function to draw online with someone else? I'd like to try that out sometime.

Yes. It's the first instance of Paintchat until ShiPainter came alone and ruined the day with their silly lil program which was apparently better because it was hosted on sites. Which sucks in comparison to OC.

Yeah, I downloaded the minute you mentioned the program. Once I get some free time I'll try it out a bit more and then get someone to draw online.

I've been avoiding Paintchat for that exact same reason, I'd rather like to make a room of my own than depend on a site to get one.

+1 for opencanvas shenanigans in the future. I haven't so much as sketched in months thanks to this semester getting the better of me. Maybe I could get a better understanding of things watching you go at it. :)

Isn't OC an online co-op drawing program?

If so I'll join. Maybe as an active part even.

I once drew with a friend in Open Canvas...It sucked. But only because I didn't have a tablet at that time and was stuck drawing with a mouse.

Um, hold up guys, OC can only host up to 4 people per chat. If you want more, you need an online hosted paintchat.

I like doing collabs on OC, it's super fun >w< I like drawing over other people's stuffs. And it's okay because everyone has their own layers.

You know me as much as anyone here, this is just a good excuse to know each other a bit more ;). Besides, if we have too many people we can bumrush to a paintchat room and take it over, no one will notice.

I've been reeeaally busy with university though, so this will have to wait for me. But yeah, sounds like fun, hopefully we can make this happen sometime.

xat doesn't hold a candle against OC though.

At least, from my experience.

EDIT: yes you can. nevermind

But as far as I can see, the version of OC that has network support only supports up to like 3 people.

EDIT AGAIN: haha I need to learn how to read.

I think Paintchat can take more than 3 artists, I haven't tried that though. And I kinda hate that Open Canvas doesn't have shortcut keys, that really turns me off.

Well, if anyone starts some OpenCanvas/Paintchat meeting, let me know too! I will do the same if I get to organize something. I still got to learn how to do that.

Paintchat (shipainter pro) that you install onto a website (You can try getting on one RPM if you wanted to) can support up to...uh, as much as you want until the server crashes? Of course the admin can set a limit. I've been in paintchats with like 20 people before, but only 5 of them were drawing though.

I used to go around oekaki and pchat sites a lot, but there seriously isn't any 'perfect paintchat' program. There is one in Pixiv though, but I don't think that's been translated yet. Also I have no idea how to use it because I never tried but I have snuck in and watched a few of my favourite artists duking it out it was fun. The actual tools/app for Pixiv look pretty good from what I've seen people make out of it but then there are always oekaki genies who can apparently make amazing stuffs from the most simple of apps.

Oh and Koi:

[SPACE][Drag] "Scroll view"
[Alt][Drag] "Rotate view ([Alt] to return)"
[Ctrl][Alt][Drag] "Change pen width"

[Ctrl+Spoit] "Pick up ActiveLayer's color

[Tab] "Show/Hide, ToolWindow"
[A] "BrushTool/ Pen"
[S ] "BrushTool/ Watercolor"
[D] "BrushTool/ Blur"
[F] "BrushTool/ Eraser"
[E] "BrushTool/ Change to right setting"
[R] "BrushTool/ Change to left setting"
[Change to Blur with double click] "Former blur brush"

[Ctrl+ Layer visible button] "Set the layer visible inverse"

I can organise stuffs like, now, if you want? >_> Seriously we just need to all be at the same place at the same time and I can poke the rest of you \o/

Most people use OC1.1 through hamachi. But since we're all men I'm assuming we all have it already~

I love the Venom pic.

Though I like both characters and the art, I can't help but say that Kung Lao cel-shaded face seems a bit off, considering the the shading style on the rest of his body. Looks weird to me. Despite that, doodle still looks great.
