I sometimes check this deities list in wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deities) which has a lot of weird stuff in it. A lamia would be cool. Glad to hear I motivated someone to draw btw

There are many interpretations I think. I was thinking more on a female Naga, which is the most common depiction in rpg games, you could also add some characteristic from the medusa.

Well, when I think Lamia I picture a Lizard Woman. I'll try and mix it all up :p

Yes. Her "neck" is actually the woman's torso. I'm so tempted to robotized that design.
