Apron ribbons are way cuter if tied from the side, personally. Though from my own maid outfit experiences i'm pretty sure those strings are too small to be tied in such a way.

Perhaps, tie it like you're wearing the apron backwards, and then spin it across your body after tying it?

I took waaaaaaay too many pictures. But wow, going through them afterwards I couldn't help but blush and smile at how freaking adorable I was, like wow I barely even recognized myself and every pose I did just tugged on my heart, and then I'm like that's me, holy crap, I am unstoppable.

I mean while I had all the stuff on, I even tried looking not cute and I still couldn't help but smile at myself as I did them. I was oozing liters of confidence which is totally crazy for someone like me.

(I didn't actually take pictures of the not-cute things, they were mostly just spurious reactions to things like getting a perfect shot but then finding out in post that I blinked and going all ARRRGGGHHH and then looking in the mirror and going all how the crap am I doing this cute thing help)

Nope. Not a single day of HRT, either. (You can tell by my thick neck and broad shoulders )

If anything, if I had to be classified under the whole genderqueer spectrum thing then I'm technically demigirl but calling myself that just feels really attention desperate and forced. So I usually call myself cis, because well, I have a dick and I'm comfortable with that, I just also like being qt.

(I'm not sure if cisgendered people are allowed to be called he/she regardless of assigned gender though but honestly [tornado fang] that noise)

I probably will then. "Demigirl" actually makes more sense to me than when I was saying I might be genderfluid.

My parents happen to be super accepting and actually pretty encouraging of me and my identity, so there's at least that. Every single other relative I have, however...

Which is also why I refuse to come out on (and have generally distanced myself far away from) Facebook, I mean besides from having commanders and such making Facebook their go-to place to find out what horrid and wretched things their troops are saying, and I really have an aversion to anybody in my chain of command knowing about me like this.

Well you got one thing going for you, you're not as shy about showing skin as I am. When I dress up and go out and about I actively cover up as much skin as possible mainly to conceal arms, waist and neck where the few masculine features reside,

I swear you have the same socks as me though.

I wish I could wear fancy socks, but they're never comfortable for me.

They're sooo nice. But I'm used to not wearing normal socks anyway (been a black sock wearer since 2010) so I don't mind them at all.

Actually I'm pretty shy about showing skin myself, but I usually try to strategically take risks in order to make it more believable. Not shown are the 800 times I had to readjust my hair to better hide my jawline/neck, or bringing the shoulders of the dress closer together etc. Also strategic collar placements are strategic and adorable. I LOVE this collar of mine so far

Ah, I can imagine that would be a hassle.

Yeah, though it's more like it tries to be tight but it just rolls off, I think that's a more accurate way to describe the dilemma.  The fabric just isn't right, and the fit isn't exactly good either.  Also if it's the kind that goes to my knees not only do I have those problems but the inner knee feels weird since the elastic kind of rubs against it in a weird way.
