Those cannons are real. And old. Very old. They're no longer practical for battle, but they're maintained and kept on the Battlefield. The green coloration is the patina from being exposed to the elements since the Civil War.

Nothing like the feel of a long, smooth, cold, hard ~~shaft~~ barrel... Such power... Such force... When it goes off, it feels like a kick in the chest.

Seriously. I don't really recommend being nearby a cannon when it shoots its load.

I'll try, but it might be too dark, since I plan to have them play in the dark. Also, I was using my tablet as the camera, and we'll be playing it on my tablet, which they're not allowed to touch, so I'll be doing most of the actual playing to show them the basics. I may let them play a round if they're still up to it.

But, I'll at least get some pics of us in costume.
