MegaMan Movie Trailer

As you hopefully all know, Mr. Eddie Lebron has set upon the task of making a live action MegaMan movie.  Here is the first trailer for the upcoming project of Mr. Lebron, and I must say it does not disappoint.

For those of you who are unaware, earlier in the year I had the privilege of interviewing Mr. Lebron for RPM.  You can read that interview here.  Since then, he and I have kept in touch about the movie, and we are hoping to get together to do a second interview for RPM in the future.  He has been hard at work making this film become a reality, and I'm still very much looking forward to seeing it and interviewing Mr. Lebron again.  Until then though, enjoy the first interview and please enjoy the trailer.

Wily seems to be perfect for the role. I'll probably enjoy watching this when it's out.

Protoman Blues

Yeah, I think the guy they got to play Dr. Wily had a lot of fun with this, which is good.  Overall, the casting for this movie seems great.

Wanda Bear

Home sweet home

Sakura Leic

I like the trailer the only thing I don't like about it is the actor for roll her voice is too squeaky on the borderline of sceechy.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Flok

Looks good, I wonder if they should had used real actors for the Robot Masters as well though...

Lovely to see Dark Knight music used in serious programs, and now even a trailer these days.
Flok's favorites:

Flame

Elecman looks so kickass. so does Fireman. but Iceman looks Meh. too normal looking. at least a helmet...
so its coming out in 2010? :P

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Protodude

I could have sworn I've heard that music before...I loves it!

King Reaper

Some of the acting is meh, from what the trailer shows (Light springs to mind primarily, but the way he plays it could work in his favor in the full film. Who knows?)
The costume choices for the robot masters bother me. It seems as though Rock and Roll were meant to be the only human-like robots, yet a few of the robot masters seem pretty damned human-like, too.
I will say, however, that the writing seems solid. Real solid. Like it could actually be a really good movie.

All in all, for the budget the movie has, what I'm seeing isn't surprising, so I won't hold it against it. I'll probably be pleasantly surprised in the end.
...what?

Rad Lionheart

Since I was linked to the Mega Man Film site a while back, I had been waiting for a trailer, all I gotta say is I'm actually surprised at how good it's lookin' so far.

Flame

i was moving the bar to get to a certain part while it was still paused, and i suddenly got this in the screen.

BLARG, I ARE DRUNK. XD

just had to. but to make up for it,

here. have some Blues. being his badass self.

also, is it just me or does "Wily" seem to have skin issues?

Reg

So I'm not the only one who hopes Roll gets hit by one of Guts Man's rocks?

HyperSonicEXE

Definitely an adaptation.

Now I don't recall Wily having acne, but, both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily would both have other types of blemishes as a result of their aging, something they don't even bother to portray in the games or manga. So that's a nice touch.

Light looks like he has slight sunburn

Cyberpunk

Blemishes... aging... sunburn... nope, not seeing any of that. I'm being distracted by the terrible make-up job.
The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules.

Bag of Magic Food

I just liked the CGI on CutMan and BombMan.    ...BombMan was CGI, right?

Flame

Bombman, Gutsman, and Cutman are all CGI
also, since I lost the Zip[ that contained it all, I have dug through my photobucket to find what it contained.

that and it had the "interview" clip.

Flok

Well done with Dr.Wily's actor. Where did they get this guy? He sure looks promising.

Trang

When is this going to be released?
Is it a amateur production?

Canticleer Blues

Whoa.  For a low-budget movie, this sure looks nice.  Can't wait to see the full thing.  :)

get equipped with paying attention. 200X = 2010

SubZero

^ No, if you knew anything about the Rockman games, 2010 = 20XX, not 200X. 200X would indicate this movie would be released sometime in 2008-2009, hence 200X, where the X hides the precise digit.
