Indeed, this is quite pathetic. Say, if I recall, someone told me that Bleach fans has a fuse as much as the Sonic fans do, so they are easy to [acid burst] off.
Sad to say, Bleach fans here are the only ones with the longest fuse of the temper bomb. And what he attempted made me feel kinda bad for his IQ levels. He could have done SO much better with his work, say, a Sci-Fi book?

I heard about this on another forum and they were very blaise about it. Some of them didn't even think that tracing was wrong. I couldn't believe what I was reading. If someone was copying my work--not that it would happen, I'm just saying if--I would first be flattered and then pissed. It would be a weird mix of those two emotions. Then I would sue them.

On the other forum, they were saying that the author of Bleach could sue Nick Simmons, but he wouldn't get very far. After all, Nick Simmons' daddy makes him nigh untouchable. Even if they did win the case, Nick Simmons himself wouldn't be hurt by it. The settlement wouldn't even put a chink in Gene Simmons' wealth. Even so, to just write off the whole situation just because Mr. Simmons' father is famous is beyond injustice.

They only care if they actually measure up to something. That usually isn't the case because celebrity kids almost always end up messed up--like the Osborn kids. The Osborn kids were not famous or celebrities, their short reign of popularity was only because people liked making fun of them. They were a joke.

The problem with Incarnate--at least with me--is that Mr. Simmons quite obviously traced right over other artists' work and claimed that it was all his original artwork. I know nothing about the story, but I have been wondering that same thing. Is the story a rip-off too? The art is my primary concern, however. You just can't get away with doing stuff like this these days.

It's already been pulled off the shelves and the publisher is undergoing an investigation.
