Wasn't there some site that allowed people to get Event Pokemon by connecting their DS to a different IP address to enable obtaining the pokemon through the GTS?

Anyway, i'll probably pick up Black 2 when I beat Black 1.

Are they different games? Different gyms? Does it have 2 regions again yet?

It's the same region with 3 new gyms, new heros and rival, 2 factions of Plasma 1 that acts like a animal shelter the other acting like a much more serious Team Rocket, a badass pokedex library that has a mixture of all 5 gens, and loads of other things.  In other words a real sequel.

Gold and Silver were real sequels. 3 new gyms is more like an expanded version. The real question is, should I merely skip B&W and go straight to B&W2? I think I should, unless there's a reason not to. Same starters? If it's the same starters it's the same game IMO.

I suggest you get Black or White and play it all the way through not only because Gen 5 is much more story driven but you will miss out on some cool post game stuff if you don't such as catching all of N's Pokemon in the first game and battling Bianca and Cheren.

Story, yea, I doubt the "plot" of new Pocket Mans will interest me. These are DS games though, right? Free is free. I might just play both. But don't they have IR to foil my plans or something?
