The thighs alone give away that it's in the Riolu/Lucario line. Not to mention Lucario is one of Japan's "star" Pokemon (heck, Lucario was in Brawl), so it makes sense that one of the first ones they'd reveal is in that evo line.

I had a windbreaker from the Tokyo Pokemon Centre that had lineart of Lucario on the back with his name underneath :L

Let's keep in mind, children, that new Pokemon, when first revealed are usually accompanied by fan theories that make more sense than the reality much like this one. Another example would be how some people thought that Kricketot would be an ice / bug type because it looked like a small Santa Claus bug thing.

But it turned out to be another standard bug type.

I dunno'. I suppose Kricketot looks like a maestro too.

So I wouldn't be surprised if this thing turned out to be something completely new.
