I need to upgrade to a 32GB as well but I'm gonna get an N3DS and I'd have to buy a new card all over again so I figured I'll just wait.

In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with getting the 32gb microSD with an adapter. That way, you copy your data over now, and you can just pull the micro out later without needing to copy again.

I use a 32GB micro with my New XL, upgraded from a 16GB during the system transfer process lol

The adapter should work though, see no reason why it wouldn't. I've used a micro in an adapter with my Wii without any issues so yeah

amiibo talk but Marth's reissue is starting to become available for preorder on Play-Asia for the Japanese reissue. Lucario, Ike, Fox and Dedede are still available as well in addition to Charizard, Pac-Man and Wario. So if you've been looking for any of them and don't mind spending $20 + shipping for an amiibo then knock yourselves out.

They had Pit, Rosalina, Shulk and Meta Knight but sold out.

Meta Knight's getting a US restock though, still exclusive to Best Buy however.

Shulk is one of those characters you can easily pick out the amateurs from the experienced players, since he's very much a walling/heavy commitment character.

About streetpassing, I got a SpillPass since I needed a Raspberry Pi, and now I get free streetpasses as soon as I use them. It's pretty ridiculous...

Well I don't buy all my games digitally.

But there are some I have. Both 3ds Laytons, for instance. And I got DKCR3D as my Platinum reward last year, which is a big game. Got NSMB2 digitally at launch because more coins. 

There's reasons for all my digital retail games. Plus it never hurts to have more space. And since its a pain to remove the SD in the New XL, might as well go big to avoid having to remove it for a while.

I've more or less resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to wait for Lucina's release date, curse the fact that no brick-and-mortar retailers are carrying her, supress my urges to research how to throw rocks at an EBay/Amazon scalper's head through the internet, and pay to import her from a European retailer.  It's what I wound up doing for Ike.

That's exactly what I did with my original 3DS model when I was waiting for my New XL.  32GB Micro SD with adapter works perfectly fine in the original 3DS.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing with Jigglypuff. Maybe I can get two so I can trade for a Greninja. Lucy and Robin are probably going to be lost causes for normal price. But maybe I can get them off someplace else.

Hell, Wave 5s I'm going to preorder immediately if possible to avoid speculator assholes. Game.co.uk is doing their preorders at 9PM CT tonight so I'm going to at least secure Palutena and ZSS until the US preorders go up so if I miss those at least I still have an overpriced UK preorder.

Oddly enough, walking into a store in my area and picking up a Lucario actually was possible on release day.  Makes me wonder if I should try to get a Greninja for trading...

Anyway, Play-Asia's got Pit, Rosalina, Meta Knight, Shulk, Lucina, Robin and Ness back in stock. Order while you can, but they won't ship till June-July.

Nah, you missed their reissue preorders. They sold those for their regular $20.

Gamestop had Pit in stock for a small period of time today.
