Here's the same thing from the Invitational tournament, with the audio and announcer.
Trust me, the announcer's ham is worth it.

If you look closely, KDJ (Rosalina) intentionally let Hugs (Mega Man) both get the Smash Ball and let the Black Hole Bomb hit him.

Anyways, I actually was at the Smash Invitational. The event itself was pretty awesome and fun to watch. Had the pleasure of meeting M2K and Armada.

That being said, I'm...very skeptical about the future of Smash 4 as a viable competitive game. The grand finals was especially an indication of what the meta will probably progress towards. Smash 4 will certainly replace Brawl, but I think the divide between Melee/PM and Brawl/eventually 4 will still remain.

Lastly, I'm very sad to see Mega Man as extremely low-tier material. His forward smash is horrible. His keepaway and approach options seem very bad. His options to kill seem limited. Overall, he comes off as very linear and predictable.

"20XX" Fox vs "20XX" Mega Man was pretty punny, though.

If you count the Mii Fighters as a single character, we're at 33 announced so far. Which is 2 less than Brawl. If you count them as separate, then that's 35, same as Brawl.

Some of those contestants were really disappointing. I know they didn't have much time to play the game, but wow. Terrible performance by Megaman and Little Mac's players.

The celebrity match was more entertaining than like anything form the actual contestants, save for a select few, and of course dem Grand Finals.

Unless the roster is bigger than we think, I don't know if he's gonna be in. That would mean six playable Pokemon characters with Pikachu, Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, and most likely Jigglypuff.

Yeah I don't see him coming back either, his playstyle wasn't exactly the most popular with people.  I know for a fact my brother hated playing as him when we went through all that trouble to unlock him in the first place and it was disappointing.   

And I remember my brother claiming that the only other character he hated to play as was ROB, which I seriously doubt because I don't see him liking the Mother characters playstyle, he's more like a Fox, Mario and Link player to me but I haven't seen him play in a while.

I liked playing as ROB but I don't think he'll be back for this one, as long as Lucario and Ike are back I'm fine.  I hope Snake comes back though, I liked Snake.

Even though I wouldn't particularly care if he makes it in or not, I feel like he's absolutely earned it at the this point. He's earned it from the get-go, actually. With the sheer amount of fans that want him in, it almost seems criminal if he doesn't make it in. Why deny a character that will further boost the game's sales?

Yes because Mewtwo would give a huge sales boost to an already  highly anticipated game.   Never mind the other popular characters people want in like Ridley and Geno.

 The way a lot of these fans are responding to Mewtwo's absence, they may not even buy the game. And I'm not talking about the rational people that want him, I'm referring to people like those on 4chan who made death threats and walls of text on wanting Mewtwo as a playable character or they won't play the game.

Sure, it wouldn't make a super noticeable dent in the game's sales, but I'm sure his inclusion would raise the profit numbers, nonetheless.

And as a company, their goal is to garner as much profit as possible.

Yeah but I don't see it being enough of a profit boost to make Nintendo feel they have to add him.  You know how many people wanted Crom to be in but were so disappointed when Ike got back in instead.  I honestly don't see Lucas making it back in either despite the huge Mother Fanbase, Ness yes but not Lucas. 

Never mind the fact that a lot of  people still don't have a Wii U in the first place, I mean I'm still not ready to buy a Wii U just yet myself even with a lot of the cool games shown and that what the main sales are supposed to go. 

Don't get me wrong, even though I don't like Mewtwo I would love to see him in, but I just don't see it with Charizard and Greninja in already, plus Jigglypuff has always been the designated Joke Character so she's probably going back in.
