There's a bit of an average looking Smash survey up at IGN, but what makes this all so interesting is the comment nonchalantly made by the writer, namely:

Seriously, as badly as I want a 3DS Smash, I hope it's original and not a Brawl/Melee port.  I like lots of stuff that Brawl did, but there was room to further improve, and most importantly, I MISS MY MEWTWO!!!

Keep Snake and Sonic

Add Travis Touchdown and Mega Man

Keep all the Brawl characters

Put in the M.I.A Melee characters

Dont put in 50 pokemans

2. How do you go online on this thing?

1. Do you mean the Great maze? The last Secret characters are only accessible by beating the game

2. Pick Nintendo Wi-fi connection and go online.

1. What would be the basic steps to qualify a character as a playable fighter... or, at least, a striker?

2. Does anyone else yern for a "Super Smash Bro. Brawl: Champion Edition?"

I would ask why IGN would expect graphics from one game to be better than another made about 6-7 years later.

And then I remind myself that it's IGN(orance) and continue on with my day.
