So. I've finally [tornado fang]ing made up my mind, and I'm starting to save money for a GAMING PLATFORM.
I started thinking about which one should I buy when I finally get enough MONIES(which will happen sometime in the DISTANT future).
So I started to think, what kind of games interest me the most from each console.

XBAWX 360 - NOTHING HERE... maybe except BlazBlue... no, wait. You have to pay for online play. NVM.
PS3 - UMMM... Disgaea 3? BlazBlue?
Wii - Super Paper Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, No More Heroes, NSMB, MARIO THE ASTRONAUT, Tales of Graces(considering it ever comes out outside of NIPPON), for example.
PSP - KH BBS, Megaman Powered Up, Maverick Hunter X, That Rondo of Blood remake and ummm... dunno.
DS - I CAN PLAY THIS [parasitic bomb] ON PC! IT DOES NOT MATTER! HAR HAR!

So, I decided that I'll buy a [tornado fang]ing Wii. Even tough I always mock this system for being, ummm... CASUAL. Well, anyway.

Considering the games for Wii I mentioned above, what other games for this system would you recommend me?

I like all kind of games.
jRPGs(as long, as they do not have a fuckboring turn battle system), platformers, maybe sum FIGHTAN, "KILL ALL WHICH IS NOT DEAD"... this kind of stuff.

I know, I know. I could do a huge research on this, since I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WOOOOORLD... but I decided to ask you guys, since I like you all so much. : >

Thanks.

Wait! IT'S ABOUT BABIES?!
I thought it was like... a game about BABES! HOT BABES WITH BIG BREASTS AND HOT BABES WITH SMALL BREASTS!

Huh, I'll get it anyway. It might turn out to be the most mature game on the Wii.

Also, never really liked Resident Evil. Tough I hear this one is a bit different from the rest, so who knows.
I'll look it up aswell.

Give me a break.

What is there to play on X360? BROWN & BLOOM FPS?

Wii games worth owning in my book:

- Super Mario Galaxy
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Mario Kart Wii
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- MadWorld
- No More Heroes
- Mega Man 9
- World of Goo
- Contra Rebirth

Plus those games that aren't out yet but you just know they'll be quality stuff:

- Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Metroid: Other M
- The Legend of Zelda Wii
- No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

Plus games I haven't played but would recommend because I'm sure they're well made:

- Punch-Out!!
- Muramasa: The Demon Blade
- Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
- Dead Space Extraction
- Super Paper Mario

Plus Virtual Console for millions of classics, and perfect backward compatibility with GameCube.

I personally consider a system successful if I like about 20 games for it, because when I look back at the PS1 and SNES that's how many games I really truly enjoy. With that said, I think the Wii is very much worth owning.

What is there to play on X360? BROWN & BLOOM FPS?
Give me a break.

That's actually stopped happening for some time now. Once the Halo tidal wave crashed, all FPS games just stopped arriving. There's still a good chunk of games for the 360 that aren't bad. There's: Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Spectral Force 3, Star Ocean 4, Sonic Unleashed in all of it's uber speed glory, Prince of Persia, Dead Rising (and soon Dead Rising 2), Bayonetta, Devil May Cry 4, BlazBlue, Street Fighter 4, Soul Caliber 4, SW:Force Unleashed, Dynasty Warrior's: Gundam, DOA4, DOAX2, Darksiders, Orange Box (yes it's mainly FPS games, but Half-Life has always been a sort of 'counter-Halo' with not everything being darker than poo, plus it has Portal), Ninja Gaiden 2, and for FPS games that are different there's Borderlands and Fallout 3. The PS3 has a good majority of those games too, minus the DOA games and a different version of NG2 (not too sure about Spectral Force 3 or Star Ocean 4), as well as it's own exclusives.

One thing about the current generation is that exclusives just don't work, so it's more of a toss up of whether or not you like the exclusives on the particular system and what technical difficulties there are compared to it's other system versions (like Bayonetta being much slower on the PS3), so if you haven't already, get either a PS3 or 360, at least the PS3 has wireless 'net and better old games that would be more difficult to pirate.

I never buy Wii games to be honest. I get games for it, but I rarely buy them.  The only hint is to try to stomach looking through the shelvefull upon shelvefull of shitty licensed and casual games. And go for the ones that are either First Party or a really good Third-Party Developer (As in, Avoid THQ, Majesco, Crave, etc.)

Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the new world, the main character's voice is kinda whiny during the start, but around the end it gets better, trust me. And Richter is cool even though he sells his soul to demons.

360: 3 words: Modern Warfare 2.  Also, Blue Dragon.

PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4. Probably the only thing that kept the PS3 launch from being a fail. Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Wii: I would think about suggesting FF4: The after years... but I dunno. To me, it feels like the game developers were just making a checklist to make sure it was "FF4 Enough." I think the first 2 or 3 chapters you play are great, but there are some I think "Why bother?" *cough*edward*cough* I think the whole thing is about 4000 Wii points. So, it's up to you whether you want to spend $40 on IMO, an okay game. Though you don't have to download every single chapter to get to the end game, but It would benefit you if you did. The Final Dungeon is one huge mishmash of a dungeon. It feels like they could've included some of it as a post-game dungeon, because you fight bosses from other Final Fantasies, kinda like what you did in the GBA port of FF1.

Vix gets a cookie for finally remembering Godzilla. :cookie:

Beyond that, most of what I would recommend is the fairly obvious, and whatever is slightly less obvious was probably already mentioned.  I will say that Brawl and NSMBWii are among the finest, Twilight Princess being high up there too if you can excuse the launch-itis controls (still better than traditional in my book) and general easiness.

A few of my personal stand-outs not mentioned above, though:

New Play Control: Mario Power Tennis.  I missed the GCN one, so to me, this is fresh.  If you did get it last time, you may think twice about if it's worth $30 to you to revisit with Wii Remote.  But it is awesome.  Makes a great party game due to the wealth of options for what each player does and doesn't want to be automated, so it accommodates a lot of play levels.  And for reasons of atmosphere alone it beats the HELL out of Wii Sports Tennis (it controls fine but I can't stand the "dead" feeling; no music and no SFX other than the ball getting smacked).

Excite Truck.  Bots may be the crazier of the two adrenaline rushes, but no amount of new antics can top a customizable soundtrack, which you will find only in Truck.  And you still get shape-shifting weather-ravaged terrain and insane jet-boosted monster truck air time.

Sonic And The Secret Rings.  If you see it, it's old enough that it ought to be plenty cheap, so pick it up.  Moving backwards is hell but it's rarely necessary, otherwise it's pretty cool.  Definitely better than anything that came before it and after the Adventures.

Any of the "Raving Rabbids" games.  My personal favorite is 2, while TV Party is a little weak due to a poorly organized menu.  But all of them are insane and frikkin' hilarious games, great for parties, laughs, and stress relief.

Also on DeviantArt, Rumble, DLive.tv, and the Fediverse (@freespeechextremist.com and @bae.st)

Many of those Wii games really look interesting, and it seems I have been proven wrong about X360... but not really.
When I was saying "NOTHING HERE!" I meant to say that there's nothing interesting for me there. Altough I wouldn't mind some Tales of Vesperia or Prince of Persia. : P
Still... BROWNAN & BLOOMAN!

Anyway, thanks again. The only thing left for me right now, is to look up some reviews of those games.

The 360 is like the PS2 of the 7th console generation.  90% of all games that come out wind up on the 360 in some way, shape, or form.  To say that there's "nothing that interests you" for the console at this juncture is pretty much just saying you're one of those people who won't touch the damn thing because it's a Microsoft product, and saying that it's got nothing but FPSes is just [tornado fang]ing ignorant.  Not when I've got Bionic Commando, Wolverine, Brutal Legend, Force Unleashed, Burnout Paradise, RE5, Dead Space, Saints Row 2, Armored Core FA, Mass Effect, Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, DMC4, Lost Planet, Tomb Raider, and two Spiderman games sitting in front of me as we speak.

I say this as someone who wouldn't touch the original XBox with a 10-meter cattleprod, by the way.

To be honest, the biggest turn off for me, when it comes to XBAWX 360 is... THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR ONLINE PLAY!

Well, whatever. If not for this, I might have even considered it.

That's it. I will say no more about this.
