I know a few people who say this has helped them make a good start into making their own signatures:

But since i'm self taught, and thus have a different style of creation, i have no reason to check if the methods in here will actually be helpful to you. Give it a try though and see how it goes.

Also i'd suggest finding some good pre-cut renders for your first few times.

I can give you X1 sound effects, but it would take some time to sort them out. If you have the guts to do them yourself, you can check out Capcom's official soundtrack to X1, it has the whole list in .mp3 format.
