Although made by Phil or not, it IS an outer space Background... Which makes you think, will there be outer space stages? (Maybe fortress stages?) Its been said its "threat from outer space" or something. Maybe we will actually GO to space at one point.

I faceplamed when I saw this. The Background tiles from the sides are taken from MegaPhil's Tank Man stage. The blue and white striped background is the backing for MegaPhils stage select screen and as you summized, that picture IS of Comet Woman's stage. What the heck! I hope the designer of the site DID get Phil's permission, or else this could get someone into trouble!

Oh and the portrait boxes are our stage select portrait boxes too!

For the people saying MegaPhil X should do something about his resources being used... he technically can't. Capcom could easily shut down any argument he has by filing a C&D if they want to be pricks like Square Enix. He may have a ground in claiming that they're using his original art work, but it's still too messy.

If he agreed, cool, no problem then. If he didn't, he doesn't have much of a choice.

And I don't think phil will mind that they used it for a website. At least they didn't put it in an official megaman game.
I think it's more like capcom saying how much they like his project and how it stands out, so they give one of his stages a cameo appearance.

I think the sooner we change the name of our fangame, the better. This is dangerous territory.
And no worries about the logo, the number ten is slightly different in font to the one Phil used.

Is it me, or is Capcom being some selfish Art Thieves? Because I can really tell the difference that they're stealing MegaPhil X's artwork, I mean it's his fan project, not some kind of official project. I do have a bad feeling that they're up to something. :/
