I can't really imagine 2 player boss fight in megaman though, sounds hectic, unless there will be something different between 1p and 2p boss fights...

I like that idea sounds.  bVd
Maybe your can shoot eachother. That would be hilariously unplayable.

borockman

Or maybe you could lift your friend and throw it to the boss.

(I wonder who got the reference)  XD

Rad Lionheart

Isn't that what everyone does in the new super mario game?

borockman

Oh yeah, I forgot they can do that too. I think different game though, much much older game.

Alice in Entropy

I don't like Bass. =|

I'm not too fond of Mega or Proto either. But hey, each to their own~

If the "third character" is a new one, I may become more interested in this. As it stands, this is "Oooooh shiny new game~!" for me, not really all that excited.

Black Mage J

Well, a new character, at this point I would doubt it, alot...

Alice in Entropy

I never said it was.

If it is a new character.

I have no hopes that it will be. Just idle speculation.

Black Mage J

And im just saying I doubt it, jeez, thats it im going to eat at tommy bahama....wait what was I saying? Well if they do get a new character, he better have double jump and a crappy weapon to balance it out....thatd be cool.

I hear ya. Perfectly legitimate concern. As much as I love MM2 I don't want every classic MM game from here on out to try and mimic it.

Granted, but we shouldn't get too many superficial additions to the gameplay, either (Beat, anyone? ;)).

Edit: Oh, what am I saying? Of course we'll get some! >U<

They should go to 2010 when MM10's gonna be released.
That's exactly why.

Also: I want to see a Dr. Wily costume change. It'd own so hard. Somebody stop me from going batshit crazy.

That's not exactly unprecedented, though. MM4 had only 1 robot master on its American cover, for instance.

All this talk about Sheep Man inspired me to sprite his stage select picture :

that's probably just why they chose to show off sheepman in the first place...

Why would anyone want to go back to 2008? XD
No one said 08... "80's" as in, 1980's.
Cuz that's where this game belongs.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

OK, now this [parasitic bomb] is getting tired. I was condoning it as a bit of a friendly bystander & because opinions are always going to be varied on the subject, but if you're going to cherry pick through the thread and bring the "I HATE IT BECAUSE IT SUCKS TO ME" routine out for another spin, I kindly suggest you take it elsewhere.

hey, Im not lying, awesome or not, whatever, this game belongs in the 80's because well, the whole point of it and 9, is Capcom trying to 1 up MM2. :\
Also, I thought you were serious bout the 08 thing. I thought you honestly misread 80 as 08.

Jericho

I was serious about '08, MM9 came out then.

And the whole point of this game is that it's Megaman [tornado fang]ing 10, as in after Megaman 9, games that most people gave up on ever experiencing in their lifetimes after the hiatus the series went on. Seriously, that's not too hard to understand.

Oh... Right. That actually slipped my mind completely.

Ive played most every Megaman game out there. (except 9. I didnt have a Wii a the time, and I dont have any points to buy [parasitic bomb] with now either. Staten island doesnt exactly have too many places to buy those...)

Do they carry point cards?

I'd like to be able to play 9 some day. >_>

Cuz that's where this game belongs.

I'd rather this belong to these years, I wasn't born in the 80's, and wouldn't we have to pay 60+ dollars for it? >.>

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

If I could say something about this argument of liking, not liking the 8-bit style mm10...

I don't see this 8-bit style as necessarily "milking it". I don't even consider these to be real "games"; they're more like mini games really. The way I see it; this isn't a sequel, but an expansion to the classic megaman series as a whole. And to me, honestly, saying they're "milking it" using this 8-bit style is like saying they were milking it when they made megaman 4, 5, and 6!

These games are simple, easy to play, and they are REALLY FUN! So what's the problem?
