The PS1 visual style is arguably the more iconic one for the X-series anyway, given that they tie with the SNES in game count and a great deal of the GBC sprites are based on it.

Just imagine, Hypershell, if they did X9 in PS1 Graphics, and gave you Playable Iris!   8)

Thats what I heard in my head, anyways. Iris would be pretty cool to play as, her being in her armor using giant laser and flying around....awesome.

X-3

Hell yeah, this is awesome.

And here I thought that today was going to be a bad day waking up. Hahaha!

I sure would prefer a more stylized "READY?" entrance that could be delivered if it were PS1 or higher type graphics.

That level of awesomeness would be seizure-inducing.

I'm pretty surprised that they're releasing Megaman 10. Now I really want to get Megaman 9 before this releases. D= And I do hope this sticks to the Megaman X series. If they didn't connect the original game series to the X series, I'll be REALLY pissed.

So please Capcom!! WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!! >^<

Rad Lionheart

As long as they can keep milking the classic series for what it's worth, they won't be connecting them.
If they do, they risk having nothing to go on for a future title, just spin offs, or sub-series titles.

Get a Wii then. Lazy freeloaders.

And, seriously? When DID you even start playing Megaman games? Anyone that is a fan of the games before they entered the teenage emo phase can appreciate this epic. Classic is obviously not dead if it still has a large base of people that want it. It's the ONE series that wasn't tainted in some way in the end, save Legends, which is all but forgotten. (key words, all but forgotten)
I HAVE a Wii. Doesn't mean I can get Wiiware games on it.

My first Megaman game was 8. So I do enjoy the PSX Megaman, but Im not exactly biased to its look. I liked the 8 bit games just as much. I dont like THIS one, merely because of the fact its such a milking. 9 was one thing. But this only proves to me that they just have given up on TRYING to make a good Megaman game without relying on things like nostalgia, and will most likely have the same thing done for X9, and X10, something which makes me somewhat bitter; since it is a very bad Idea.
That, plus Im not exactly having the best of days.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Da Dood

Dude, the day Mega Man 10 is announced is automatically the best of days. 8B

They've been milking him since the day he was created, what's different now?

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

2 retro games isn't exactly milking it. It does come close, though. If Mega Man 11 is 8 bit too, that would be definitely milking it. Also, I don't think they're using the NES style as a selling point. I think it's more of a case of Inti being lazy.

But in the end, how the game looks shouldn't matter. If it plays fine, it could look like Atari 2600 graphics for all I care. It's [tornado fang]ing Mega Man.

I disagree with both.  I think it's a case of catering to it's target audience, which is me.

Aim the arrow towards the target an you'll be fine, waste too many arrows on one target and your gonna miss for sure.

I think they just learned that the others didn't work out as well as the old 8-bit games, so they've gone back to that, it worked, why not do it again until they can't anymore and close the gap.
