hmm. For my personal opinion, X8 is another. It's music was good, but a few tunes gratedon my nerves, and a few were very forgettable.

See, this shows that it should be mentioned!   8D

Flame

Its only 2 games out of 10. (11 if you count MHX as seperate)

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I'd much rather get a game that has the quality of X1... but that's me. It's also highly doubtful.
Bolded for clarification. X1 was the only game that felt like it had no flaws, and having something of that quality again would be nice. Also X2 (although I admit that one has it's issues =P).

Hypershell

One other thing with X1 is that requiring boss weapons for parts was rare (although X6 still one-ups it in that respect).  Capsules only required other capsules.  And even when a weapon was needed for something else, it at least didn't feel like a mandatory revisit,

X5 had some serious offenses in that respect.  McWhalen's capsule requires McWhalen's weapon?  Riiiiight.  His Heart Tank (as Zero) is best obtained with E-Blade, which comes from the boss you should be tackling immediately AFTER him?  Ugh.

Marth: COUNTER!
Yoshi: BrringPOP up and over!
Jelly: Nice!

......okay, that's all I've got.

Well, many have a "few" tunes that grate on nerves.  It's forgivable.  Case in point, again: X5.  There were a lot of weak entries in that one, considerably more so than X8.  But you can't argue with Zero's theme, X vs. Zero, or pretty much any tune related to Sigma.

I liked all of X5's music.
INCLUDING the boss theme. Whether it fits as a boss theme or not, I still found it interesting.
I didnt quite like X8's boss theme.

*UPPERCUT!!*

X8's boss theme is awesome and very fitting.  At least, the first half is.  The latter half cannot compare, which is unfortunate given that on Hard Mode you'll pretty much always hear that longer than the normal theme.

X5's boss theme was ear-piercing.  Zero Virus theme was interesting but entirely too repetitive and too frequently used (we didn't have to do cutscenes, stage select, AND stages with all the same tune).  X's character theme is pretty crappy.  Not terribly fond of Mattrex and Axle The Red music, either.

Its my opinion, And I'm entitled to liking X5's and hating X8's if I so wish. Outside of X8, I dont hate any Megaman music.

Nekomata

it totally fits the gameboy's usual sound quality.

Protoman Blues

I agree.  The music is actually one problem I DON'T have with the game!

Flame

Plus the game itself was the worse part. Gliiiitchy as hell. Xtreme 2 had its fair share, but god damn, this blows even the music out of the water.

Maybe, but Xtreme2 still did it better.

Let me guess, emulator, right? Cause on a real Game Boy, Start is in such a cumbersome position that makes dashing+shooting or dashjumping a [tornado fang]ing chore.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Not again.  Do I need to start posting Xtreme2 dash instructions in my signature or something?
