Mmm... probably not, but I'm horrible at proportions when one character is much taller then the other. I should have probably lengthened his torso a little more so. =/

Then again, Phantom is a ninja, so long legs are a must for shealth and stuff.

Hrmmm... should I draw Phantom giving Shinobu a hug, or vice versa? Even if it seems like something he wouldn't do under normal circumstances.

UPDATE! AGAIN!

Here is a WIP of Ayame, merged with Model S. I royally screwed up her helmet so it will look like crap regardless. *headdesk* I tried fixing it with Paint but it won't do any good for th ecolored version.

Anyway, I found the pose while surfing through Google and thought it would be a good reference because I liked how the legs were positioned. As I look at this, I guess you could consider it what Shinobu might have looked like if she was given an older body. Her hand looks too big though... O.o



And something I randomly wrote... for randomness. Shinobu's predicament before she met Phantom and X. I'm not much of a writer so if it reads badly... yeah.

[spoiler]The pain had dulled over time, although how much time she did not know. The ground, just as broken as her body was covered in shadow constantly, a protection from the heat of the sun as it passed overhead. Her nanites had begun repairs to a few of her systems, stopping the flow hydraulic fluids to the lines that had been severed. She would live for a while longer it would seem. The humans she had protected had dragged her to this shelter of a near collapsed building. Their leader, a tall, gruff man named William, had made a promise that they would send help.

That had to be four days ago.

At least she thought it had been four days. Her internal clock had stopped working, in order to aid the cooling system to keep her from overheating. Shaded as she was, the air was hot and dry and the sun baked the mixture of cement and steel above her. It felt like an oven when the sun was at its highest point.

Her program would not let her disable her inner workings. She was made under self-preservation unless it was to aid the humans she had been built to protect. Those humans who were constantly on her mind. Did they make it safely to Neo Arcadia? The shining city of hope, the promise of peace, that led many survivors of the Elf Wars flocking towards it. It was her only goal, the point of her being, to aid her 'father's companions to that sanctuary. Without it, they had little chance of surviving.

And without her, they would have been killed when they tried to come through the dilapidated ruins of the city whose name had long since been forgotten. She had risked her life for them, damaging herself to a near inoperable state in an attempt to drive off the large mechaniloid known as the DVN-12 Raptor. She was surprised it had not killed her, although she seemed to be near it.

She reflected on the faces of the six children traveling with them, how they cried when they were forced to leave her there alone. She tried to laugh it off, saying that she will be fine. That she would see them later, when she could move once more.

That was not going to happen at all it seemed. Her legs were damaged and she had no energy left to try and repair them herself. She had to hope that William remembered her enough to ask for help, or that he even bothered at all to say she was still active.

A sudden sound alerted her to another presence. The same rumble of that oversized mechaniloid, the steps were faltering it seemed. Its gears shrieking from the movement that rubbed against bent and corroding armor. The sound of a charging weapon and the sudden discharge echoed about the ruins. The tearing of metal, a hiss of steam and the scent of burned electronics and hydraulic fluids added to her senses. Whatever the Raptor was fighting, it was apparent that it was losing.

She laid there for but a moment, hope blossoming inside her mind. Ignoring the pain, or her own weakness, she began to drag herself towards the entrance. The ground beneath her shuddering as the mechaniloid crashed to the ground and silence reigned.

The sound of steps soon followed, lighter compared to the Raptor.

"Phantom, look at this."

"It appears that something was dragged, Master." A voice deeper then the other had replied. They sounded close enough, maybe they could hear her?

Her voice cracked, the emulator that of a young girl as she rasped out to the figures nearby. Blue eyes pleading in an alarmingly child like face. Some of the synthetic skin had been torn, baring her fragile components to the elements.

"Please... Help me..." [/spoiler]
